When trying times hit you and your family, it is time to take a sober self-assessment and ask the Holy Spirit’s guidance to align you with God’s will.

It is time to ask the Holy Spirit to...

Create a clean heart and a renewed and steadfast spirit within you (Psalm 51:10)

Align your heart with God’s as you delight in His will (Psalm 37:4)

Remind you of God’s promises and put Him into remembrance of His Word (Isaiah 43:26)

So then, how do you pray in alignment with God’s will so that His promises are made manifest?

As a pastor of a congregation, as well as having an online ministry of more than 700,000 followers, I hear from Believers across the nation and the world. They want to pray with fervor and power that releases God’s promises into their lives—promises of restoration, peace, and prosperity.

The problem is,they don’t know how…

The Word says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” (Hosea 4:6).

In the last season, you may have recognized the battle, but you were not able to overcome it because there was a lack of revelation. The rev-elation to overcoming is to activate the dominion that you’ve been given by connecting to Yeshuah HaMashiach—Jesus Christ.

In 30 years of ministry, I’ve discovered that there are mountain-moving prayers the Lord wants us to pray in order for our lives, our families, and our nations to become aligned with Him.

INTRODUCTION

The prayers we pray are to unite One New Man Believers—those Paul wrote about in Ephesians 2:15, those Believers who come together as Jew and Gentile—in Christ and with Israel. This creates a 3-stranded cord that cannot be easily broken.

“Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”—Ecclesiastes 4:12

These prayers involve decreeing the Word so that the Church’s authority is legally obtained and recorded in the heavenly books.

Understand That...

...Romans 11 says those who are grafted into the olive tree as a wild branch (Gentile)...

…Are able to partake of the root awnd fatness of the olive tree (take dominion and receive promises)..

…When you understand your spiritual heritage is connected to Israel (Jew), the natural branch!

And in whom is this entire olive tree firmly rooted?

Yeshua! He is the root of Jesse (Isaiah 11:10).

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”—John 15:5

Jesus uses this illustration to emphasize connection and relationship. It is impossible for us to bear fruit—overcome battles and prosper in what we are called to do—if we are not abiding in Him.

When we understand our identity in Jesus and come together as One New Man (Ephesians 2:15), we can release restoration into individual lives, the Body, and Israel.

This is the 3-stranded cord: You, Israel, and One New Man Believers

When we pray for unity among this 3-stranded cord, Kingdom progress is made, and restoration is released according to the Genesis 12:3 promise.

If you are reading this, you have an assignment to pray with fervency for…

Yourself. Jesus said to ask, seek, and knock (Matthew 7:7). When you pray for yourself,

you are praying for the Spirit to prepare you for what He has for you.

Israel. Pray for Israel to fulfill her divine destiny. As prophetic events continue to unfold,

God will present opportunities for the Church to align with Israel, the apple of God’s eye.

One New Man Believers and the Church. It is time for the Church to unite and take

the authority of Christ which she has been given… and lead. We are the lions who

consume God’s instruction and run forward, releasing it into the atmosphere.

It is time we take our strategic place in the Kingdom of God—fully equipped for spiritual warfare.

Will you commit to standing in prayer with me and other Believers who understand the power of this 3-stranded cord?

Let’s release restoration, peace, and prosperity into our homes, families, communities, and the nations. It is time to heal the nations.

PERSONALPREPARATIONHow to Prepare for Spiritual Warfare

To start, you must prepare for spiritual warfare. It is vital to understand your enemy. When you know your enemy and how he operates, you are equipped for the battle.

“Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breast-plate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace…”

—Ephesians 6:14-15

Let’s commit to regularly preparing ourselves for battle...

Step 1. Confess and repent. Start with a prayer of repentance. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal areas of offense that the accuser is holding against you in the Courts of Heaven. Confess these offenses and surrender them to your Father. Declare and agree with Psalm 51, that you acknowledge your transgressions and that the Righteous Judge blots out your iniquities, creating a clean heart and a renewed spirit.

Step 2. Plead the blood of Jesus. To be prepared for battle, you must understand what covers you. The blood speaks on your behalf. The enemy wants you to forget that the blood has already delivered and pardoned you. To plead the blood is to remind the heavenly courts that Jesus’ blood was poured out so that the Father’s will and victory will be manifested on Earth.

Step 3. Close yourself off from the enemy. The key to closing yourself from the enemy is 2 Corinthians 10:4-6, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.”

The enemy will set himself against the knowledge of God. He will place thoughts and circumstances in your path, creating strongholds.

But there is good news! God’s Word instructs us on how to tear down the strongholds. Take every thought captive and dismantle it. Remember that you do not walk according to the flesh or earth-ly desires, but according to the Spirit. Prepare by asking the Spirit to reveal any lie and to give you strength and wisdom to disarm it.

PRAYER FOCUSDECREE AND DECLARE

When you decree and declare God’s Word over a situation, it positions you to receive the promise. Decreeing the promises of the Lord with your mouth shifts the spiritual atmosphere. It is a seed that you sow.

Sow after the Spirit, not after the flesh.

Here is a list of decrees and declarations we can make today to receive the supernatural release the Lord has for us in this season…

Find a quiet place...

Decree these declarations out loudin agreement with the Spirit...

Expect victory!

7 DECREES AND DECLARATIONS FORYOU AND YOUR FAMILY…1. I decree, O Lord, that Your ways are higher than mine. I commit and trust in You today. Your

Word says that You direct my steps when I submit them to You. Therefore, I lay my plans before You today. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”—Proverbs 3:5-6

2. I decree, O Lord, as Your servant, it is my heritage that any weapon used against my family or myself will not prosper, according to Your Word. “‘No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,’ says the Lord.”—Isaiah 54:17

3. I decree, O Lord, according to Your Word, that I receive the promises of blessing and protection that You have for my family and myself. I declare in agreement that Your promises and smile shines upon me, and Your grace surrounds my family and myself today. “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.”—Numbers 6:24-26

4. I decree, O Lord, my family and I come together in peace and harmony today, as we walk in forgiveness and turn to You, putting on love which will bind us together according to Your Word. “...bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.” —Colossians 3:13-14

5. I decree, O Lord, that Your discipline bears peaceful and righteous fruit within our home, according to Your Word. “Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.” —Hebrews 12:11

6. I decree, O Lord, that You cause any enemies who plan evil against me, my family, or my loved ones, to stumble, experiencing a breach in their camp, according to Your Word. “I will send My fear before you, I will cause confusion among all the people to whom you come, and will make all your enemies turn their backs to you.”—Exodus 23:27

7. I decree, O Lord, that You reveal what is hidden to me, according to Your Word. “Call to Me and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”—Jeremiah 33:3

7 DECREES AND DECLARATIONS FORISRAEL...

1. I decree, O Lord, that the peace of Jerusalem and the assurance of Zion’s salvation is made manifest, according to Your Word. May the nations see Israel’s righteousness—no longer forsaken and desolate. “You shall no longer be termed Forsaken, nor shall your land any more be termed Desolate…” —Isaiah 62:4

2. I decree, O Lord, that Your strength empowers the leaders of Israel, according to Your Word. “And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in the Lord of hosts, their God.’” —Zechariah 12:5

3. I decree, O Lord, that Israel stands as a place where Your justice and mercy are evident as we humbly walk with You, according to Your Word. “He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you, but to do justly, to love mercy and walk humbly with your God?” —Micah 6:8

4. I decree, O Lord, that those who are brokenhearted, poor, widowed, and orphaned find refuge and strength under Your covering, according to Your Word. “He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.” —Psalm 91:4

5. I decree, O Lord, that Israel fulfills the plans of Your heart as a place of justice for all, accord-ing to Your Word. “It shall be that you will divide it by lot as an inheritance for yourselves, and for the strangers who dwell among you and who bear children among you. They shall be to you as native-born among the children of Israel; they shall have an inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.” —Ezekiel 47:22

6. I decree, O Lord, that Your covenant with Israel is everlasting, according to Your Word. “And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you.” —Genesis 17:7

7. I decree, O Lord, that the zeal of the Lord will prepare a way for the King to enter in through the Eastern Gates of Jerusalem as He takes up His throne, according to Your Word. “Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” —Isaiah 9:7

7 DECREES AND DECLARATIONS FORONE NEW MAN BELIEVERS AND UNITY WITHIN THE CHURCH…

1. I decree, O Lord, Your identity as One New Man united in Christ over the Body of Christ. I release Your peace and reconciliation upon the Church, having access by one Spirit to the Father, according to Your Word. “For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments con-tained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.” —Ephesians 2:14-18

2. I decree, O Lord, that One New Man Believers walk in unity, recognizing the gifts and offices You have called each of us to, and edifying the Body of Christ, according to Your Word. “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ…” —Ephesians 4:11-12

3. I decree, O Lord, that One New Man Believers respond to Your call to bless Israel, releasing Your blessing upon us, according to Your Word. “I will bless those who bless you…” —Genesis 12:3

4. I decree, O Lord, for Your authority to be released in the Body of Christ, that we have full faith, and cancel any doubt, according to Your Word. “So Jesus answered and said to them, ‘Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, “Be removed and be cast into the sea,” and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.’” —Mark 11:22-24

5. I decree, O Lord, that a great revival will take place in the Body of Christ, according to Your Word. “Again He said to me, ‘Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, “O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! Thus says the Lord God to these bones: ‘Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.’”’” —Ezekiel 37:4-6

6. I decree, O Lord, that Your will be done on Earth as it is written in Heaven. Angels act according to Your Word and heed Your voice. I commission them to harken to Your Word and bind the mouths that speak against You. And I decree that we, as Believers, take every thought captive and make it obedient to you, according to Your Word. “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.” —2 Corinthians 10:4-6

7. I decree, O Lord, that One New Man Believers walk in truth and love, being the light in the darkness that glorifies You, according to Your Word. “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.” —Ephesians 5:8-10

PERSONAL PROTECTIONHow to Pray for Personal Protection during Spiritual Warfare

Praying for protection is critical during spiritual warfare. When you have a high calling to pray for yourself, your family, Israel, the Church, and the nation, the enemy is on full alert. You need divine protection in this season.

Step 1. Commit to praying for protection daily. The Bible says that God’s mercies are new every day (see Lamentations 3:22-23). This also means that the adversary is looking to devour at every turn. Therefore, we must be vigilant and spiritu-ally awake. We do not have to be fearful. We can trust that God will protect those who seek and trust Him.

“Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.” —Psalm 91:14

Step 2. Put on the full armor of God. When you go into battle, you need proper armor. We are instructed to put on the full armor of God, which gives us the power of the Lord, enabling us to stand against the enemy.

Read through Ephesians 6:14-18 and pray in agreement with the scriptures.

“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” —Ephesians 6:11

Step 3. Use the Prayers of Protection for Your Personal Health and Wealth below. After you put on the full armor, pray God’s Word using Psalm 23 and 91 as your guide. These passages attach God’s promises of protection to your sit-uation, guarding your health and wealth as you enter the battle.

Prayers of Protection for Your Personal Health and Wealth

Declare: Psalm 91:1-2

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.’”

Decree: Father God, I decree and declare that I dwell in the secret place of the Most High. I abide under Your shadow. Let it be recorded that You are my refuge and my fortress, whom I trust.

Declare: Psalm 23:1

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”

Decree: Father God, let it be recorded that You are the One who protects and guides me. You meet my every need, and I am satisfied in You.

Declare: Psalm 91:3-4

“Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.”

Decree: Father God, I decree Your promise of deliverance from the fowler and the pestilence. Your Word says that You cover me with Your feathers. My place of refuge is under Your wings. Let it be recorded that Your Word, which is truth, is my shield in every battle.

Declare: Psalm 23:2-3

“He makes me to lie down in green pastures; Heleads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.”

Decree: Father God, according to Your Word, You give me rest and peace. Let it be recorded that my soul is restored in You. Your path leads me to righ-teousness so that Your name is glorified.

Declare: Psalm 91:5-8

“You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked.”

Decree: Father God, Your Word speaks only truth. I will not be afraid of darkness, arrows from the enemy, pestilence, or destruction. When my circumstances are falling around me, let it be recorded that destruction will not come near me. I will look and see Your faithfulness as I rest in my identity in You.

Declare: Psalm 23:4

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”

Decree: Lord God, You protect me in the valley of the shadow of death. Let it be recorded that Your divine protection and direction comfort me.

As you commit to praying for protection, expect God’s wings to cover you as you walk with confidence and trust.

The Power of the Shofar…

Shofars are used to bring us to the remembrance of God, specifically during war. When you blow the shofar, you are giving God a portion of the breath He gave you. The sound clears the spiritual atmosphere, allowing words you pray and the words you hear from the Lord to be protected.

The blast from the shofar is an awakening sound that har-kens the angels to obey His Word (see Psalm 103:20).

“When you go to war in your land against the enemy who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trum-pets, and you will be remembered before the Lord your God, and you will be saved from your enemies.” —Numbers 10:9

How to Use the Shofar…

1. Take a deep breath.

2. Create a small space between your lips.

3. Force a small amount of air through your lips.

4. Create a seal between your lips and the shofar.

5. Vibrate your lips.

You can blow long single notes called the tekiah. Three medium blasts are known as the shevarim. Nine shorter blasts are a call to awaken and referred to as teruah. Combine these in various ways during worship and prayer.

MY PERSONALPRAYER TOOL KITHere’s My Personal Prayer Toolkit

Over the years, I’ve come to understand that spiritual tools are used to activate on Earth what is writ-ten in Heaven. They are visible and physical demonstrations of the invisible and spiritual authority Believer’s have in Christ.

We can use these tools to release the prayers above into the atmosphere.

The shofar, tallit, and anointing oil are all a part of my personal—and powerful—prayer toolkit that I use in spiritual warfare.

14

The Power of the Tallit…

The tallit is a symbolic spiritual tool. When you come under the tallit in prayer, you are:

Claiming your position of refuge under the wings of God’s protection (see Psalm 91:4)

Taking the authority that Jesus gave you “to trample on serpents and scorpions” (see Luke 10:19)

The true significance of the tallit is what it rep-resents. It is a personal tent of meeting with the Lord—a point of contact where you engage all your senses and connect to the spiritual realm of Heaven. It is a place of togetherness with God.

How to Use the Tallit…

1. Drape the tallit, or prayer shawl, over your head. His Word declares over and over the importance of what we put on. He didn’t clothe you in filthy rags, but in splendor and righteous-ness, because He loves you! He gave you a beau-tiful garment in Christ, and you are wrapped in His glory.

2. Take the tzitzit and weave it through your fingers on both hands. The tzitzit, or tassels on the four corners of the tallit, are fringes that are part of the hem of the garment. The hem was associated with the wearer’s authority and worn by royalty. Weaving the fringed tassels through your fingers declares that when you aren’t strong enough to hold on to God, He is holding on to you.

3. Submit yourself to God in prayer. The tallit helps to position you for a surrendered prayer. Draw near to the Lord.

MY PERSONALPRAYER TOOL KIT

15

The Power of Anointing Oil…

You are anointed by the Holy Spirit, which breaks the yoke of sin. The anointing oil, representing the anointing of the Holy Spirit, is a symbol used in the physical realm to speak in the spiritual realm.

In Hebrew translation, Isaiah 10:27 says that the yoke will be destroyed because of ‘fatness’ of the anointing. Using the anointing oil on your neck makes your neck fat in the Spirit.

In other words, as you mature in the Spirit, the yoke of sin the enemy used to control your old self no longer fits. As you grow in the Spirit, your old self does not control your thoughts. The Holy Spirit gives you fresh anointing and new assignments as you break out of sin and into a lifestyle of righteousness.

MY PERSONALPRAYER TOOL KIT

How to Use the Anointing Oil…

1. Anoint your eyes and pray in agreement with Psalm 32:8:

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.”

Where you focus is where you will go. The Holy Spirit will guide you, but your focus must be on Him and you must have a teachable heart.

2. Anoint your forehead and pray in agreement with 1 Corinthians 2:16:

“For ‘who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?’ But we have the mind of Christ.”

The forehead signifies your mind. God’s thoughts are higher than yours. Therefore, put on the mind of Christ.

3. Anoint your mouth and agree with Psalm 19:14:

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.”

The mouth signifies words you speak and the seeds they sow. Choose to sow seeds of life rather than death.

16

4. Anoint your ear and agree with John 10:27:

“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.”

The ear signifies obedience. When your ears are opened to hearing God’s voice, you can obey.

5. Anoint your right thumb and agree with Leviticus 8:24:

“Then he brought Aaron’s sons. And Moses put some of the blood on the tips of their right ears, on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the big toes of their right feet. And Moses sprinkled the blood all around on the altar.”

The right hand signifies the covenant. This is why you raise your right hand in court.

6. Anoint your toe and agree with Luke 10:19:

“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

The feet signify authority. You have been given authority through Jesus and your feet are prepared with the Gospel.
