About the Speakers And Their Companies

Willem deGoede, former Chief Operating Officer, B. Braun of America and B Braun Medical Willem deGoede oversaw the production, and research and development, of B. Braun’s products and solutions. He also held responsibilities as Co-President with Central Admixture Pharmacy Services (CAPS), a B. Braun company that delivers high quality admixture services and solutions to a dynamic and challenging pharmacy environment and was President of the company’s OEM Division. He brings more than 20 years of leadership experience. Prior B. Braun, he was Vice President and General Manager of McGaw in Irvine, CA. He also was Vice President of Operations, Logistics and Research and Development for McGaw. Before he began his career in healthcare, Willem worked as an automation engineer and came to the U.S. in 1977 after being a Navy Seal in Dutch Navy. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in mechanical and electrical engineering in his home country of Holland. He is a current board member for Gateways to Better Education.

Angela Swanton, Site General Manager at Teva Pharmaceuticals has over 15 years of experience, starting her career at Pfizer as a Director, working in the US and in Sweden. She was the Supply Chain Management Leader for Zoetis in Brussels and the Site Leader for Zoetis in Charles City, IA, before moving to California as the Site General Manager for Teva Pharmaceuticals in Irvine.
