Yoga for Kids Workshop in SF!Three days and 9 hours of yoga. Ages 5-12Campers embark on a yoga adventure to the Himalayan mountains as they transport their mats to the Ganges River through mythological stories!
Along the way they will meet seven wise rhyming and rapping yogis! Campers must use the yogis' wise clues to journey through India and find their way home. Seven Yogis incorporates principles such as mindfulness, positive thinking, and healthy living in a 7 leveled sequential and creative manner. The goal of the system is to help children develop healthy habits at a young age, and let their true nature of light, love, and peace shine within and radiate out.

Director
Vanika Chawla is a medical student at the University of Calgary with an interest in combing Eastern principals with conventional medicine to treat mental health at the root cause. She loves working with kids and has taught several workshops in Canada and in the US. She completed her Yoga Teacher Training and Yoga Nidra Training at the Sivananda Ashram in the Bahamas.
Ami Mehta completed her masters in learning design and technology at Stanford University and has co-taught a masters level course at Stanford in the School of Education. She is passionate about the intersection of Learning, Technology and Yoga. Her expertise in story and curriculum development combined with years of consulting experience makes her a leader and innovator.
