Supports Finnish work on entrepreneurship education together with other participants in the field of entrepreneurship education. Coordinates local YES –centers by supporting the network in its functions, such as developing and distributing methods and materials for entrepreneurship education, training teachers and enhancing school-business-cooperation between different participants nationwide.

YES – History
2000- The basis of the YES –operations model came from Canada, from where the model was introduced to Finland in the beginning of the 00s. - The first YES –center was founded in Kokkola in 2001.2005- Operations grew into an European Social Fund (ESF) project, which covered three provinces (Kokkola, Pori, Hervanta in Tampere).2008- YES –centers – project (Finnish National Board of Education/ESF) in 2008-2010 covered/covers nine provinces. Four new YES –centers were founded during the project.2010- National YES registered association was founded to support the work of the YES – center network

YES –operations model in practice
YES –center brings together teachers, entrepreneurs and business life.
Every YES –center is different; physical place or a traveling regional chief.

YES –centers and the results of the project
- 1156 teachers from different educational levels got ideas for entrepreneurship education through different trainings- 5487 people took part in short information sessions- 119 businesses are involved in school-business cooperation- The amount of JA-YE students arose from 3500 to 6700- Good catalogues, which present the best practices, school-business cooperation and good materials.- 4 new YES –centers and a national YES registered association were founded to continue the work of the growing network!

YES registered association is the most central national operative realizing the policy lines for entrepreneurship education given by the Ministry of Education and Culture.
YES registered association is nationally the cooperation and support organisation for 20 YES –centers.
Every year 60 % of the teaching personnel is reached through regional YES –center networks.
