The 10 th Y eosu Inter nation al Youth Festi val ~Bursting Friendship & Passion in the Green Global Village ~ The 10 th Annual International Youth Camp will again be held in Yeosu City, South Korea. This camp and festival run over a period of seven days and is t he biggest one of its kind in the world, with over 100,000 participants, including over 420 international youth in attendance from approximately 35 countries and 170 specially select ed Korean students also attending . W e will be taking care of 170  people from Nort h and South America, Oceania, Europe, Central a nd West Asia. Alongside local organizers, the provincial and the national government, the Inter national Exchange and Cultural Promotion Institute (ICI) will be organizing what be an enjoyable and educating experience in Korea . Under the slogan “let’s go together toward our dream” youth from around the world will be able to share their culture, attending cultural awareness programs, team building sessions, exciting workshops, and of course, participating in water sports, the youth festival, and tours of the local environment. The 10th Annual International Youth Camp will again be held in Yeosu City, South Korea. This camp

and festival run over a period of seven days and is the biggest one of its kind in the world, with over 

100,000 participants, including over 420 international youth in attendance from approximately 35

countries and 170 specially selected Korean students also attending. We will be taking care of 170

 people from North and South America, Oceania, Europe, Central and West Asia. Alongside local

organizers, the provincial and the national government, the International Exchange and Cultural

Promotion Institute (ICI) will be organizing what be an enjoyable and educating experience in Korea.

Participants need:

Participation costs

  A payment of 1,000,000 Korean Won for those coming from Oceania, South Africa, and The Americas, will be paid upon

arrival, a payment of 800,000 Korean Won for those coming from closer areas, such as from Europe, Central Asia, and the

Middle East

  All in-country expenses such as; transportation, accommodation (at both Yeosu and the youth hostel on the first night), and

meals are covered.

Attendance

Participants will be required to arrive on July 19th

(Monday) so that they can meet each other and be prepared to travel

to Yeosu together the following day. We will provide overnight accommodation at a youth hostel nearby the airport as

well as dinner and breakfast.

Participants will be transported back to Incheon International airport on July 26th

(Monday), and should arrive in the

afternoon.

Those wishing to come earlier or leave directly from Yeosu may do so, but will be required to find accommodation by

themselves. We can recommend a foreigner-friendly English speaking travel agency, www.tournetkorea.com

Important Information

All youth will be required to fill out and complete our registration form. All youth will be care for by a professional

guide, adult volunteers, and members of our staff.

Visa

Most participants traveling to Korea can do so on a tourist visa (which can be stamped upon arrival).

If your country requires an invitation letter please check and request this along with your application.

Application

The final date for application is May 15th. Please make sure that you fill out all of your application, if you do not have

a resume, a letter of introduction will be acceptable. Please attach a copy of your passport and student ID if you have one

so that we can confirm your age, and properly insure you. Please do not purchase any flights until after receiving final

confirmation from us, this letter will be sent by May 15. It will be in the form of an official confirmation letter. Any

After meeting at

Seoul (Incheon)

Airport we will

travel to a nearby

youth hostel with

the other 

 participants to get

 better acquainted

Today we will

travel to Yeosu by

chartered bus,

register, and attend

a team building

activity before we

have dinner and

rest

Today we’ll start

the day off by

attending a

workshop, followed

 by lunch and some

water sports, before

we have dinner and

attend a seminar on

the environment and

the oceans

On our last day of 

the camp we’llmake the symbol

for our camp and

tour Yeosu.

After this, we’ll

attend the festival

orientation and

have an outdoor 

BBQ party in the

evening

We’ll spend the

mornings

 preparing for the

festival before

attending it later.

There will also be

some free time,

tours, team

meetings and a

global party, too

We’ll have a

leavingceremony

 before going

 back to Seoul

(or other cities

if the

 participants

wish to make

their own

arrangements
