Our Mission: Closing the Opportunity Divide
Year Up's mission is to close the Opportunity Divide by providing urban young adults with the skills, experience, and support that will empower them to reach their potential through professional careers and higher education.

Our Program: A High Expectations High Support Model
Intensive one-year program for young adults ages 18-24:• 12-months of continuous enrollment at FSCJ• 6-months of a corporate experiential-learning
Internship while earning 15+ college credit hours• Potential to earn 48 college credit hours in a year
through FSCJ towards a degree.

Results
• 80% of students complete Learning and Development
• 100% of qualified students placed in internships
• 85% of graduates are either employed, in college, or both within 4 months of graduation
• 98% of partners surveyed conclude Year Up interns meet or exceed expectations in technical preparedness
It's a win for the urban communities, it's a win for the students, and it's a win for our company. We would not be doing this unless these students were active contributors as employees. And they more than pull their weight.
