3-DAYS ADVENT RETREAT AT ST. ROSE OF LIMA PARISH

There will be a Retreat starting Tuesday, December 4th through Thursday, December 6th from 7 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with Fr. Roger Pascall. The retreat will begin with Mass at 7 p.m. on all the three days.

ALTAR SERVER MEETING

There will be an Altar Server meeting in the Church with Fr. Freddy Claudio on Saturday, November 24th at 10:30 a.m. for ALL the Altar Servers even those that

have recently signed up. Please make sure to attend.

The collection for the Shepherds’ Trust will take place this weekend November 17th & 18th. Envelopes will be placed at the back of the church. The Shepherds’ Trust does more than just bridge the gap in our priest’s retirement years; it says thank-you in a very tangible way for the blessings we have received. MARRIAGE PREPARATION COURSE

"The Marriage Preparation Course for 2013 at St. Rose of Lima will commence on Sunday Jan. 13, 2013 and run on consecutive Sundays until Sunday Mar. 3, 2013 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. This course is designed for couples entering marriage for the first time. Couples should contact the Parish office to speak to one of our parish priests ahead of time. The fee for the course is $125.00 per couple and is payable at the start of the course."

The 2012 – 2013 Sunday Missals are available in the parish office at a cost of $5.00 each. Please make sure to have the right change available.

PRE-AUTHORIZED GIVING OR “PAG” PROGRAM Thank you for all you do in support of St. Rose of Lima Parish. The work of our parish is made possible through the

giving hearts of parishioners like you. In response to changing lifestyles and demands on time and energy, parishioners have been asking about the Pre-authorized Giving or “PAG” program. This is a convenient way you can support your parish and it also helps us know how much we will be receiving each month. St. Rose of Lima can then use this knowledge to help plan and budget parish finances accordingly so that we can be good stewards of the resources God has entrusted to us. We hope you will prayerfully consider if PAG is right for you and your family. Please fill out a form at the Parish office.

SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT de PAUL CHRISTMAS GIFT DRIVE

  

As we quickly approach the Advent Season, we are again asking for your support in providing gifts for the less fortunate in our Parish Community. The need is greater than ever with over 200 families and over 700 people assisted at Christmas alone last year! Simply pick up a tag from the St. Vincent de Paul Christmas tree at the back of the Church this weekend and return a wrapped gift between then and DECEMBER 12TH LATEST with the age group/gender clearly marked on the outside. These gifts will be delivered by the Vincentians before Christmas, along with a food voucher to ensure these families enjoy a nice Christmas. Your generosity for this cause has been outstanding over the years and we thank you in advance for your support!
