WORDS FROM THE CEO YEAR IN REVIEW – 2016-20171

Our continued growth is a testament to the dedication and teamwork our more

than 900 employees bring to make Citrin Cooperman a great company.“ “

Citrin Cooperman saw significant growth in 2016. The Firm grew revenue by 17%, with billings exceeding

$210M. We promoted 11 partners and principals and brought in 5 laterals; introduced two new practice

groups, Government Contracting and Technology & Risk Advisory Consulting (TRAC); launched Apexium

Financial LP, a new wealth management affiliate; and admitted the partners, principals, and staff of two firms in

New England, giving us new offices in Boston and Providence.

As we enter 2017, our focus will remain on growth, both organic and through strategic opportunities. We plan

to further develop our core service offerings and will place an emphasis on enhancing our increased footprint in

New England and Metro D.C. We are also planning to move into new office space in Bethesda, MD and Long

Island, NY. Other areas of focus this year include the further development of our India office; offering our

expertise to other CPA firms through the Citrin Cooperman Alliance; and enriching our affiliation with Moore

Stephens International.

We look forward to all that is to come in 2017.

Regards to all,

Joel A. Cooperman
