Year 7 to 10 Home LearningREADING

Reading allows you to live many lives and experiences at once, so use reading as an opportunity to experience something different or something you like in new ways.

When once you have completed your third day of reading from your chosen book, complete one of the following tasks:

1. Write a recommendation for your book. - Explain what made you choose it in the first place.- Without major spoilers explain why the book is worth reading.- Challenge: Limit your review to 250 words max.- Select a friend that you think might like or benefit from reading the

book too and send them your review.

2. Make a list of three characters or people in your book that you find the most engaging.

- On Goodnotes, create a film director’s cast list, with photos, of which actors, celebrities, or even people you know, that you would place in these roles. - You must include a 50-word explanation of your choice for each character.
