SCOPAY - online payments for meals and trips
SCOPAY allows parents, guardians or carers to make payments by credit or debit card for all school purchases (including school meals, trips, events and resources).
If you have not yet registered, please let the office know and an access code will be issued to you. All new Year 7s should have received their code today from their tutor.
If you are already using SCOPAY, they have rebranded and the website is now easier to use. They have also released a mobile app.
Visit SCOPAY.com or download the SCOPAY app and pay anytime, anywhere.

Character for LearningWhy? Academic qualifications are vitally important and are essential stepping stones in children’s futures. However, employers are looking for something else, something that gives someone an edge over others.
94% of employers say that soft skills ( leadership, organisation, resilience, initiative, communication and teamwork ) are at least as important as academic results.
68% say 18 year old school leavers they are looking to recruit don’t have the required soft skills for the workplace.

English
● Talk to your child about their learning and ask them questions.
● Encourage them to read for pleasure. This is important to improve vocabulary and comprehension.
● Your child will have a knowledge organiser and you can help them to remember key knowledge by testing them.
● Help your child to organise their equipment, ensuring that they bring their English exercise book to every lesson.
● Encourage your child to watch the News and current affairs programmes to develop their cultural capital.
● Where possible, take them to visit museums, art galleries, the theatre, etc.
