Computing Use formulas

You will be using formulas on excel. Use the separate step by step guided if needed. To do this:

1. Plot some information onto your blank excel spreadsheet. For example, a shopping list or takeout menu.

2. Highlight the price column, right click and press format cells. 3. Click on currency and then ok. 4. To find the total you can use a formula. In a new cell click =SUM( then

click the first price on your list, : then click the last price on your list ) then press enter. For example: =SUM(B3:B14) The price should now be shown in the cell.

5. If you have time, use the formula to add up some other items. Email your teacher your finished excel spreadsheet.

PE Learn to run at a stead pace and throw and jump accurately

If you have a garden, try and do your PE outside. Have a go at some of the athletics activities below: Running: Sprint for seven seconds, run for one or two minutes. Repeat. Jumping: Stand with your legs together, bend your knees, swing your arms and jump as far as you can. Mark where you landed. Try and beat your jump or get family members to try and beat you.

Throwing: Using a ball, throw over arm as far as you can. Mark where you landed. Try and beat your jump or get family members to try and beat you. Email your teachers with your scores, who can get the furthest?
