Levels?!

• Levels have gone!• We are now working towards end of year Age

Related Expectations. • Linked to the age of the child.• More focus on deepening understanding,

rather than broadening.

Homework• Goes home on a Wednesday.• Comes in to school on a Monday.• Range of subjects• Projects• Spellings

• It is the perfect opportunity for the children to show you their understanding. They will already have the skills to do it, learnt at school.

If there is a reason that your child cannot do the homework by Monday, you will need to write a letter to their teacher to inform them of the reason for this.

Reading

• Reading books need to be in school every day.• At least 3 times a week at home.• Children will become more independent in

changing their books as time goes on.

• Reading at school- Individual reading and Guided Reading

PE Kits• Games Track Suit and Trainers

• Hall based PE Red School PE T-Shirt, navy shorts and plimsolls

Kit should be in school every day. PE will now be blocked in sessions across the term.If there is a reason that your child cannot take part in a PE session, you will need to write a letter to their teacher to inform them.
