Years 1 – 6 2020 Change4Life Visit
We will be having a visit from a Fit4Life coach who will be working with all children in years 1 – 6 throughout the day. The visit is aimed at raising the profile of Sport and PE throughout the school whilst building the children’s confidence, enthusiasm, and knowledge in these areas. Within the sessions the children will be given fun and easily usable advice on a variety of areas linked to their wellbeing. Fit4Life have enlisted expertise from Sports Scientists and Nutritionists to help incorporate key areas in the workshops for children to engage and understand in a fun and memorable way, from sugar intake and sleep, to physical fitness and balanced diets. The overarching aim with their visit is to promote the engagement of all the children in all the activities, whilst simultaneously inspiring the children into adopting healthier lifestyles. If you would like to find out more please visit their website – www.fit4kids.co.uk Can you please ensure that your child has their PE kit in school on this day.

A prayer for the New Year ...
God, thank you for a new year.
May everyone in our family be willing to begin anew
with a clean slate.
We know that you are always ready to forgive us.
Help us to be willing to forgive ourselves and to forgive
one another.
As we begin a new year, remind us of our truest values
and our deepest desires.
Help us to live in the goodness that comes from doing
what you want us to do.
Help us to put aside anxiety about the future and the past,
so that we might live in peace with you now, one day at a
time.
