How can parents help?• Revision guides and workbooks can be purchased from the science

department (cheaper than in the shops!). These are useful throughout the course.

• Booklets of some past-papers can be purchased from the science department, or all past-papers can be accessed through the AQA website (www.aqa.org.uk)

• Encourage your child to attend the revision sessions at lunch-time and after-school from Easter onwards

• Help your child learn the ‘command words’ which are used in the exams

• Ensure all homework is completed
