C) 8 marks Unit 3 Paper* Remember – it’s an RE exam! Lots of ‘c’ responses didn’t link reasons to religion – especially the CAFOD one.

* Learn difference between religious experiences and ‘life after death’ experiences – look at the title of the section you’re answering maybe.

*Firstly, secondly, thirdly etc seems to work better for majority of pupils – as long as they leave a line and make sure they have checked their reasons are not too similar.

C) 8 marks Unit 8 Paper8.1 Gen engineering – crops and plants not many wrote this8.2When it says some CHRISTIANS it means they need to distinguish between the types of Christianity- Maybe teach a ‘Christianity tree’- to explain denominations8.3Fertility treatment- benefits- struggled with this question as non-religious answers and students wrote religious answers 8.4 Use of quote ‘eye for an eye’ not many used this quote when it was easy to use and pick up marks link with Capital Punishment

C) 8 marks Unit 8 Paper* Basic overview of Islam needed names of Allah- etc. so can always link if needed/ Muslims follow Islam, that sort of thing.

* Not using structures which could pick them up marks – firstly, secondly.. Or another reason, further reason
