Dear Legionnaires, Auxiliary and Sons of the Legion,

BIG NEWS! Our parking lot is now complete! It looks great and an awesome job well done by Cincinnati Asphalt Company. Much preparation work needed to be done before they could start as we needed to put in new to put in new down Spout drains by doing the work ourselves we saved thousands of dollars. I like to thank the following who helped me do the work, Dan Losekamp, Ed Crawford, Matt Crawford, Bill Disbro, Dale Hopkins, Fran Hennessey, Dave Eager, John Anthony, Mark Sandlin and Rusty Whitbeck. Jerry Wilson provided us with a fine lunch. But none of this would have been possible without the people, groups and families who donated money to the project. This project was over $60,000 and it was done debt free. So, my hat is off to the following groups, individuals and families. Dues- If you have not paid your 2020 dues please do so now! We are trying to obtain quota for all our three groups before Veterans Day. Dues are as follows:

Legion- $35.00 make your check payable to American Legion Post 199 and mail to Yeager Benson Post 199 PO 603 Harrison, Ohio 45030. For all those who pay their Legion dues prior to November 1st, 2019 you will be put in a drawing, 10 paid members will be drawn out and those 10 people will have their dues paid for 2021.

Auxiliary- Dues are $25.00 for Senior members- 18 years or older and Junior members are $8.00 (under 18 ) Make your check payable to the American Legion Auxiliary and mail to Yeager Benson Auxiliary Unit 199 PO 603 Harrison, Oh 45030.

Sons of Legion- Dues are $20.00 for 18 and above and Jr under 18 is $7.00. Make you check payable to the Sons of the Legion and mail to Sons of the Legion PO 603 Harrison, Ohio 45030. The SAL recently held an Early Bird drawing for those who paid their dues prior to September 1, 2019. The winners who will have their 2021 dues paid are as follows- Dennis Callan, James Guilfoyle, Glenn Taylor, Connor Race, Chris Barnett, Doug Dole, Greg Heath, Mile Dole, Dominic Chaney and Donald Buchler.

Hamilton County Meeting- Will be at our Post October 2, 2019 at 7:30 PM all members are encouraged to attend!

Music Bingo- October 11th and November 8 @ 8 PM. Free to play, prizes and lots of fun!

Bingo- Every Thursday night except NO BINGO on Thanksgiving! Doors open at 6 PM play begins at 7:15 PM and we are very much in need of volunteers and players.

SAL RAFFLES- The SAL will have a gift card raffle during the Bengals vs Indy football game on October 13,2019 and their annual Turkey Raffle will be November 23, 2019 starting at 7 PM to ??

Trivia by Jeff Harper- will be October 9 and November 13 at 8 PM.

Football Sundays- Come on down and enjoy Football Sunday. We have the NFL channel, 5 TVS, bucket of beer day, blue light specials and prizes. Bring food to share.

Halloween Party- October 18,2019 from 8 PM to 12 Midnight. Music by Second Warning! $3.00 enter the Halloween Best Costume and winner takes all!Music- by Heather Rousch- from 8 PM to Midnight
