FAQs

Q: How do I follow other people’s profiles?

A: Hover over any user’s name in your feed and click ‘Follow.’ Alternatively use the ‘…’ icon in the

top left corner to navigate to ‘People,’ which leads to the People Directory. Follow anyone.

Q: How do I join a group?

A: Click on the ‘Discover more groups’ link, which leads to a listing of the currently established

groups. Choose the groups you wish to join and begin collaborating with your coworkers.

Q: How do I create a group?

A: First, check to see if the group you are interested in creating already exists. Then check to see

if similar groups already exist where the scope can be expanded. Still not there? Then click

‘Create Group’ on the left hand menu under the groups.

Q: How do I download the Yammer mobile app?

A: Download Yammer by Microsoft from your device’s App Store. Enter your work email and

password. Your password is the same as you use to log in to Dovel (your account is synched to

Dovel’s Active Directory and Office365).

Q: I’ve accidently posted an incorrect message - how can I delete it?

A: Only you can delete your message. Just click on the little ‘dustbin’ symbol underneath your

post. And then post a revised version.

Q: I see something that I think is libelous or in some other way really inappropriate to have on this

site. What should I do?

A: Contact Dovel’s HR using [email protected] or [email protected]

Q: I am getting too many Yammer-related messages. How can I turn off the reminders?

A: Once you’re logged into Yammer, go to Profile Settings (bottom left) and then to Edit Settings

and Notifications, where you will be able to disable (tick off) the email notification options at the

bottom of the page.
