Integrated System with Dual Front Speakers and SubwooferThe YAS-101 combines two 6.5 cm [2-1/2”] cone speakers with a dual-driver (7.5 cm [2-3/4”] cones) subwoofer, driven by a digital amp with atotal output of 120W. Although compact, its excellent structural designprovides a large volume enclosure for both the speakers and subwoofer.The result is powerful, high quality sound that makes TV and movies muchmore enjoyable.

Dual-Driver Subwoofer Powerfully Reproduces Bass Sounds The dual-driver subwoofer employs large magnets and large-diameter voicecoils to realize dynamic and robust bass sound reproduction. This ensuresthat the overall sound has a rich sense of presence, making movie effectsounds more realistic.

Resonance Tube Contributes to Deeper, Richer BassThe YAS-101 employs a resonance tube that has a straight shape andadequate length to provide outstanding bass response together with the large volumecabinet. The ductoutlet is shaped likea trumpet bell,which reduces windnoise for bettersound clarity.

Saran Net Grille Enhances Sound Definition The grille protecting the speaker unit is a saran net that allows unimpededsound flow. All sounds, including vocals and music, are clear and pleasantto listen to.

Learning Function Allows Operationwith the TV Remote ControlThe YAS-101 can “learn” the TV remotecontrol operation, so you can use the TVremote control to turn the YAS-101 on andoff and to adjust its volume.

Simple to Operate Remote Control SuppliedThe YAS-101 remote is simple and easy to use. It lets you turnthe power on and off, adjust the volume and do other basicoperations, and even lets you switch the surround modes.Together with the Learning function, you can use either theTV remote or the Yamaha remote for easy operation.

Convenient Placement, Easy to Use

Slim, Low-Profile, One-Body Design Allows Positioning in Front of a TVWith a height of only 10.7 cm (4-1/4”), the YAS-101 can be easilypositioned in front of a TV so it straddles the TV stand. With the standremoved, the height can be adjusted. Because both speakers andsubwoofers are built in, it fits more easily into available space thanseparate components.

Can Also Be Hung on a Wall If the TV is hanging on a wall, youcan remove the stand and hang theYAS-101 on the wall as well.

Built-in IR Flasher for TVRemote Control SignalTransmissionEven if the YAS-101 blocks the TV’sremote control signal, the IR flasheron the back transmits the signal tothe TV so operation is not affected.
