hopefully we will have it in usable condition. i'm pretty proud of myself, i

spent ab out six or eight hours and managed to remove the deck, steps, arctic

entry room[even managed to get the roof off by myself] dented your filing

cabinet a little when i took it out of the room, sorry but it was heavier than

I expected. i got my excercise, saved a ton of money and am feeling pretty

good about having done something houglitoiild require several people

and power tools. the expense to you was...., remember that white chocolate

truffle you used to have in the refrigerator and those shortbread cookies and

that chocolate rum cake and those diet cokes, well, you still have some of the

cookies and some of the cake. tony hana will let me know about the date for

the lift this week, your living room is full of the things that were in the

arctic entry room so its quite a mess, we're on schedule and ill hound these

guys until it gets done. good luck fishing. bob

Bob: I'll be glad to have Catherine back here. The cat is starting to

talk back to me. And, I've returned to the House late each night to

find I had to fix dinner-probably good for me as I think I've lost a

few pounds "batching it." I think the idea that she can decorate, and

furnish new rooms and get some of my stuff out of her way has

invigorated my roommate. I, too, as you know, am anxious to have some

room where I can tinker without having to pick it up and get it out of

sight every time someone visits. The peach of mind from this new

addition is something new. I can't thank you enough I'm sure you have

<PRE>Dear Ted, it will be great if we can get these trees to grow, it takes

about

two years for them to decide if they will survive or not and then they begin

to grow a foot each year. We have three seedLings and according to the

instructions that is better than par. Barbara Boxer pisses me off every time

i see her on t.v. You need to get out of that hotbox for a while and relax. I

sent everyone a bill to day for legal expense incurred during the corporate

formation. My Pal? Tom Owens charged us $1500 flat fee plus a fee paid to the

state so everyone got a bill for $175, do you want yours sent to Barb

'landers? I'm asking everyone topay Tom direct so he'll get 10 $175 checks. Ireally thought he would do it pro bono but i was sure wrong. I'll call Bill

monday and tell him to have his crew move the tenting material and get the

tools out of the garage so the house w;ill look normal when you get home. We

look forward to your homecoming, bob

now i turned the heat tape on and I will go back this evening and turn it off. The guys

put some great Christmas lights Out and i intend to see how they look in the dark. I will

<PRE>Dear Ted, in these times we need all the laughs we can get. 1 have been

to

the chalet every day trying to get the snow removed and messing with the snow

melting device and it finally had an effect today, i was much concerned that

it was not working after turning it on twice and getting no results but it

apparently was working and taking longer than i expected. One of Bills

workers left his work trailer in the front yard and we had to move it to

remove the snow and i went by this norning and damned if someone did not put

it right in front of the garage. I'll have it out of there by monday. You do

mean Sunday the 22nd dont you. If you are comm home tomorrow i need t' "

it out now.F

(good morning senator, your house is in the air and hopefully we will have the

framing package down this week, my hold-up at the moment is the footing,

blockwork and the framing package, dick miller came by last night and we went

over to inspect the house and discuss the concrete work, hopefully he can

get started today. please tell catherine that his offer of rock siding is not

much of a deal ($20 per square foot). i intend to pin him down on the cost of

the garage pad also, we need a four inch thick pad and i want to be sure he

and ± are on the same wavelength when he says cheap. i'm kinda like thejewish shoe store owner who chased the shoe thief for a couple of blocks,

gave up the chase and yelled " run, you bastard, you got em for cost

anyway". thanks for calling monday night, sorry i missed your call. i hope

the sound was bad and you don't have a cold, quite a few people here in

girdwood have something very much like the flu. i intend to get a shot. as

soon as it is available, well, i'll keep you posted. my beet, bob

good evening senator, its me again, rocky caee by to discuss a few things.bill wants to install a jacuzzi in the old bLue fixture bathroom and that cost about2.000, do you want to do that? the plumbers are working now and have already ripped out

' old fixtures, the other things is your firewood, we are going to build a wire mesh

und you fire-box because you need at least 2 iücbes cXearance and some of your tired was lying on the fitebox and had fallen down by the water heater. we want to make
