  • We make the surface of the piece from old table cloth and worn-out jeans.

Using traditional Chinese mortise and tenon .

In & Out can be easily assembled,-disassembled and stored.

A releasable fiber net reasonably divides the storage space.

Plastic structures fastened on cloth keeps the wood structure, the cloth and the ground from attrition.

Pockets in the jeans can be used to store pens, notebooks and even cups.

  • The most important thing of design for children is the security. The structure itself has to be strong and avoid hard corners. This stone-house can be used as a tent to relax and hide, like a slide to be entertained.

    STONE HOUSE

Pockets in the jeans can be used to store pens, notebooks and even cups.

  • One week project for Life of an architect PLAYHOUSE competition2014.

  • The Stonehouse has two parts, the main part of stone and the leaf.

The stone is ellipsoid and have three holes which are opened by the front, the left and the right-top side.

Inside of the stone is a half-opened space which is not only for the children to hide and play, but also for the adult to play with and take care of them.

The leaf is the most interesting part of the design. It can be a shelter from the rain and the strong sunlight. Children can climb up to have a higher visi-bility and seat under the leaf.
