Activity – What’s the Best Language Course for Me?
A. In pairs take turns to complete the following tasks.
1. Answer these questions quickly.
a. Have you ever considered participating in an
English language course abroad?
b. Where would you like to take that course?
c. What would be the greatest benefits of
participating in this course?
d. What difficulties would you have to deal
with?
2. Choosing the most suitable Summer language course abroad can be difficult.
Discuss with your partner which criteria a youngster must pay attention to
when selecting a Summer language course.
B. Imagine you and your partner want to enrol in an English language course
during your Summer holiday but you still have not decided where and which
course to take. Each of you will receive a leaflet from a language school
describing its Summer courses. You will need to ask each other questions to
learn more about each programme and then decide which to enrol in.
