Even in case of filtering, calls are routed towards multi-device (e.g. MIC Mobile)

. Default mode for searching people.

. Contact information is retrieved from: - (*) Local address book - (**) Personal Outlook contacts (Contact folder, including subfolders). - Corporate directories (PBX phonebook, LDAP directories, ICS directory) - Outlook contacts stored on the Microsoft Exchange server (unified messaging account required)

(**) Lookup of Microsoft Outlook contacts is based on an add-in that is automatically installed with My Instant Communicator (fresh installation or upgrade). When starting Outlook, all contact information are extracted from the contact folders and stored into a My Instant Communicator cache file. This cache file (1000 entries max) is automatically updated when creating or modifying an Outlook contact.Note that: - Outlook must be restarted to update the cache file when creating a new contacts subfolder - Cache file is not updated when deleting a contact - My Instant Communicator has to be started at least once before Outlook for retrieving dialing rules (and thus canonical formats) from the OmniTouch 8400 ICS serverDeskphone: call by name, name-surname, by initials

. Up to 5 attributes (e.g. department, job title) can be defined by the system administrator.

. Contact information is retrieved from: - Corporate directories (PBX phonebook, LDAP directories, ICS directory) - Outlook contacts stored on the Microsoft Exchange server (unified messaging account required)

Drag and drop an email (from Outlook, Lotus Notes or Mozilla Thunderbird) into the My Instant Communicator deskbar automatically displays the right contact identification card, so that the user can place a call, use instant messaging, leave a voice message…

(*) The floating deskbar is the draggable version of the deskbar. It looks and works just like the deskbar, except you can drag it to anywhere you want on your desktop. It always floats above all OTBEHr windows, so it's always visible and easily accessible. Use the same sequence key (e.g. CTRL+CTRL) to display/hide the deskbar on the desktop for on-demand accesses.

(*) Enter the first letters of the contact you want to reach to pull up possible matches. Feature is based on a local cache mechanism that can store up to 1000 entries. This cache is updated with all personal Outlook contacts and all lookup requests already performed.

(*) Contact picture can be retrieved either from Microsoft Outlook contact folders or from corporate directories (LDAP directories).(**) If stored in the local address book.(***) Picture is retrieved from corporate (LDAP) directories, in addition to local address book.

. Opens a conversation session (Web window of Teamwork services) on the Personal Computer.

Lotus Sametime can be integrated as a pane within the Lotus Notes client. Native capabilities of Lotus Sametime and Alcatel-Lucent Unified Communications are the same when Lotus Sametime is deployed in this manner.

. In addition to the presence status provided in Lotus Sametime, the user is able to see if a contact is on the phone. This lets the user select another media (e.g. IM) to contact the person.. Alcatel-Lucent presence will be available everywhere where telephony presence is exposed (e.g. Lotus Notes contacts list).

. Following My Instant Communicator toast windows are displayed: - Enterprise (business) voice call - A Lotus Sametime contact signs in. All OTBEHr toast windows are managed by Lotus Sametime (e.g. Incoming Instant Message).
