It’s a mineral color painting. I decided to make

this painting after I visited The Yongle Palace

in Shanxi Province.

I paid more attention on this painting’s

thickness and abundant color, and made proper

changes on the line’s thickness according to

different structures.

The techniques of paste paint, sprinkle paint

particles, and paste eggshell are used in this

painting.

For the love for ancient Chinese buildings,

especially the ones in Hong Village, Anhui

Province, which I took pictures of, I then made

this painting according to the pictures
