Purdue Universitys Department of Bands & Orchestras welcomes you to the 2 th Purdue JazzFestival. This on-line packet should include all of the information that you will need to make your visitto Purdue University both educational and enjoyable. You will find attached to this email:

Please discuss appropriate behavior with your students. NO PLAYING of instruments can take place except in warm-up and performance areas! We have outstanding judges and clinicians who are willing to share their talents and knowledge with young musicians for very little compensation. Please ask your students to be polite and attentive.
Take a few minutes to carefully look over the information provided. Unloading and parking of buses change slightly each year, so check carefully and share information with your bus drivers. With heightened security measures and shifting construction issues still in place and constantly changing parking areas, Purdue police are stricter about procedures than ever, and they do not hesitate to tow!

Information Summary
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
DIRECTIONS TO THE PURDUE CAMPUSStewart Center FROM INTERSTATE 65: Exit Interstate 65 at Highway 43. Follow Highway 43 into West Lafayette. Turn right onto State Street at the light (there is a McDonalds on the corner).
Up the hill, turn right at the third stoplight onto Memorial Drive. Stewart Center will be on your right. If traveling north on US 231: You will turn right onto Highway 43 and proceed with the directions above
(after turning LEFT on State Street).
