Comments of students about the arrangements• Hostel is perfect, we where at the second store. • Hostel was good.• Hungarian, it was good for him• Room was stinky, with stains on the ceeling.• Good or even very good• Trip to Hungary was good, reception was realy good organized.• Appartement was a satisfaction• It was very good• At all, the level of accomodation was good• It was a good, nice appartement, only to bad that we had to change rooms for a few times.

There was fungus in my room.• The tutoring system ws like nothing, it didn´t help me at all!• Was very good• Good• Arragements were good, in general. The student tutor system was quite hard to get.• The pre-arrival information was really well. I had a lot of questions concerning the

accomodation and so on. And I really had the feeling that the construction of this course tried to help me.

• I had read the documents on the Inno-forest homepage (course description etc..) and so I had a better idea about what would happen during the two weeks in Sopron.

• When I arrived here in Sopron, I soon felt familiar. All people, teachers and students were very helpfull.

Comments of students about the arrangements• Very well done, enough information was provided and tutoring teachers were helpfull.• This course was organized very well, i am very happy that everybody took it’s role very

seriously. • The course was very good organized. • It was good, I had a great time. The ice-breaking party was realy cool.• In general I believe there are no big problems, I am very satisfied.• In general the arrangements were good, with one exeption. The fact that we don’t had the same

room to stay from the beginning, we had to change.• I think they did a great job, they send a lot of pre- arrival information to us. The orientation in

Sopron was great. I like the fact the we got a map from the town. The tutoring system was interactive, but they had some problem with the accomodation when we had to change the rooms.

• I am satisfied• As far as I am concerned I think that arrangements were great.These two weeks was excelent

organized (exeption: the problem with the accomodation)• In general the arrangements were good, I don’t like that we need to change our room after 1

week.• Well, when we were coming to Hungary, we did not get much information about transportation

from Vienna to Sopron. We were lucky that student from Oulu were on same flight and they had all the information that we needed. In general, the arrangements were excellent.

• More information about arrival, but otherwise arrangements are okey. More information about everything would be nice.

Comments of students about the studies• I was thinking that this intensive course is very good for me and everybody

else.• The PBL work was very good and I liked it. Excursions were very very funny

and excellent, more excursions would be better.• Well, some lectures were very boring, and some were very interesting.

Groupwork was fun.• I just loved the excursions.• I enjoyed the excursions very much. We had some interesting lectures wicht

gave me new idea (or give me new questions)• Some lectures were to theoretical.• I aspected more informations about innovations in forestry, new methodes

and equipment etc.. And less about tourisme and environmental stuff.• I learned very much about innovations. Also I learned to coöperate with other

students, the level of instructions was very high.• The whole course proces was very intensive and at a high level.• Most of the lectures were very interesting• I think that somethimes we had to much information. (on Thursday)• The tutorials and group meetings were very relevant.

Comments of students about the studies

• I learned a lot during these two weeks, the course was well organized and on a very high level. The tutoring teachers were very kind and wanted to help us.

• Well organized, some lectures were very interesting, others could have been more. Somethimes to may lectures on one day, it was hard to concentrate.

• It was good.• Some of the lectures were hard to understand because of the bad english.

Also there were some very boring lectures with lots of text. Instructions of the case study were poor.

• Some of the lectures were boring. The PBL proces was a little hard at first, but the groupwork in general was good. It was nice to work in the groups. The excursions weren’t quite what I was expecting (like the hiking), canoe trip was a lot of fun.

• Presentations were boring, next time less information on the sheets and more practical information. People don’t pay attention when it’s just information and text.

• It was good to be a part of thiscourse, to learn, to study and make the presentation. And to be in the nature is also very good.

Comments of students about the studies• Some teachers have bad english pronunciation.• Studies were well prepered and very interesting.• Good, and I am satisfied with the studies.• Somethimes I had problems hearing/understading questions because of noise

during discussions. Also, some lecturers could improve there spoken English.• PBL was quite new for me, at first it was strange.• Some lectures were out of the theme, in my opinion we could learn more

about forestry in general.• The key lectures were partly realy good. But some were, unfortunately,

veryboring in the way of presenting. (just repetition of the study material on the internet.)

• Because I had to earn a lot during these two weeks to be able to pass my test in september, I wasn’t able to take partin the discusion, I am not so hapy that I have missed these nice programme.

• The study was good and there were interesting things, I enjoyed the time here.

• It was okey, all the information was well presented, also when we needed any more help we could ask our teachers.

• I realy liked the PBL proces, and the excursion was very cool.

Comments of students about the facilities

• I liked the classroom, and that we were able to sit together with our working group (chatting and stuff)

• Whenever I wanted, I could check my e-mail and so on, there were possibilties during break. (hungarian computers were a challange)

• The chair was very uncomfortable, my ass was not happy.• Library? Computers were in hungarian language which was not suitable for everyone.• Computers weren’t in english.• I was satisfied with it.• Did not use library Library. And software should be in english too. But it was not to

much of a problem.• No comment• Very good• It would be nice if computers were in english.• Library? Rest was good.• I didn´t use the library at all.• It was to hot and lack of oxygen in the classroom and the chairs were non ergonomic.• I liked it• It was good

Comments of students about the facilities• There were a lot of computers, I like that a lot• I haven´t been too library so I can´t evaluate it.• Classroom was okey. We could use the computers after 5 pm on the faculty, but it

was okey too. Didn´t use library.• It was realy hard to use computers.• Facilities were good, I am satisfied.• I was very surprised with internet speed connection. It was very fast. Also the

computers are very new and good.• The program at the computers were on Hungarian, that was a problem.• There wasn´t any library at all, the other things were okey.• I am very satisfied with the computers, access and internet was good (also at the

hostel).• Actually I don’t need a library• Is there a library, I haven’t seen it! Well it’s not a problem because there were enough

computers and a good internet connection.• Everything was little bit okey, like the place. The computers should be change to

english, but anyway it was okey• It can always be better, but this course was very good.• The chairs were so uncomfortable to sit on all day. Everything else was on a very

good level.

Comments of students about the living in hungary

• My opinion about the living in hungary is very good, because it is not very expensive and people are friendly.

• Likely the accommodation was new, first weeks wake-up was terrible!! Food in canteen was bad sometimes. But chopping and eating in restaurants was cheap.

• Vegetarian food was often fish, and we don´t eat fish! But in general meals were good, maybe little bit salty. Hostel was good.

• The accommodation was realy great, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, but the meals weren´t very great. At least I didn´t liked them.

• Accommodation was all right. Meals were little to much the same.• Cost of living was rather normal.• People in Sopron are so nice and friendly, It’s easy to communicate with them.• Meals were very salty• The food was awful• Food in canteen was very salty• I live in Sopron and I think there are a lot of things that could be better.• Unfortunatelly we had to move to an other room but that wasn’t a big problem.


• Student dormitory looks very nice but I didn’t like the food in the canteen. Hungarian students are so friendly and polite and I realy like all of them. All field trips were very funny and interesting.

• Our room was nice and we could stay, others had to move during the programme which was a bit uncomfortable.

• Well, the meals were quite interesting….And I had no electrisity in my room so I needed to change rooms.

• At first our room was a bit dark without the lights.• There rooms should be warmer.• The meals were quite poor• Hungarian students were very nice, they had arranged a lot during the

evenings.• Drinks were cheap!• Food in the canteen was bad, the rest was good.• The organization was not very good, i mean the accommodation. I didn´t

like the hungarian meals.• Food and service in canteen was good, only sometimes a bit salty.


• This new experience was very good for me.• The rooms from the hostel were very nice, and i was happy that we had internet

access in the rooms.• The beer is cheaper the in Serbie.• Accommodation was realy good, the only big problem was that the rooms had

never been cleand.• The drinks are 2 times cheaper then in Estonia, and drinks are all that a student

needs.• New hostel, but with some flaws. • Food was much better then in some restaurants in Serbia so it was very good.• I had some problem with the dormitories.• Food was salty but service was good. Free-time activities were the best!• Accommodation is nice, people were friendly. I had some problems with food,

because im not used to eat hungarian food.• Accommodation was vey nice, only a bit noisy.• I missed the funny part (because I had to study for my final tests) but I took it

very seriously to be here for the lectures and the groupworking.• Everything was good.

Comments about the study period in general

• During the two weeks in Sopron I felt very good.• First evening, at the welcome party, I drunk too much wine, but it was fun. • Then lot of lectures, excursions was good. PBL methode and the groupwork was

nice. • Only one whole free day, this was not good. More activity and less lectures! But the

two weeks were a lot off fun.• It was a good experience. Meeting new people and so on, free time could be more at

the day time, because most of the shops closed at 17.00 pm.• These were two beautiful weeks. But I expected more information about the

innovation in forestry, not only theory.• I realy loved this study period. It was a good experience and I realy appreciate the

people who organized this course, they did a very good job.• It was nice to meet new people. I realy enjoyed the excursions and the free-time

activities with the other students. It was totaly new experience for me to work in an international group.

• My study period was very nice and interesting. I am satisfied with the program• It was great time for me, I learned many things, im traveling a lot, the excursions were

also great. I can say that the organisation did a very good job.

Comments about the study period in general

• Everything was very good and I am surprised how the time passed so quickely. I have learned a lot and also had a lot of fun.

• For me this two weeks were very full because we had so many activities (lectures, excursions, group work, free-time) but it is a very intensive course.

• The trip was realy great• I enjoyed these two weeks. Congratulations for the tutorials. They have

done a lot of things that we/ the students enjoyed this time.• My study period was interesting, and I liked this way of learning. I have

learned a lot of new stuff, and I have seen some stuff I already knew, but now from a different point of view. I think that this way of learning has a good influence on the students.

• I am very glad that I have been there, I met som very interesting people and learned a lot.

• The organisation was very good, so organizors and teachers, thanks you for everything.

• I liked the course a lot, organisation was good and we learned a lot. Suggestions: Stick to the excursions, they were great!

Comments about the study period in general• The food was somethimes a bit fat and salty but on average it was good.• I realy enjoyed it.• A lot of good information, but the teachers need a different way of

presenting. Less information on sheet, and less sheet, better english.• I like the whole course, it was a good adventure to find and meet some new

people and frends. To learn more about other countries an of course for the Forest. I suggest , for more trips in the nature. And the foresters will study more in the forest not in the classroom.

• Altogether it was a great experience.• I had the opportunity to extend my perspective and to make new friends.• It was nice to be in Sopron and take part in excursions where we have seen

many interesting things.• There were also plenty extra activities, but it is a shame we did not get to

play any sports (except for canoeing and swimming), but I meet some new friends and friends are forever and thats the most important thing.

Comments about the study period in general• I enjoyed taking part in this course and to experience so many points of

view about the subjects. It was a pleasure to get to now so many people.• I suggest less presentations in the first days, it was too much, and more

excursions in the beginning to build up the group. Some more help from the tutoring teachers.

• My study period was very good, I have got were I came for and thats what matters for me.

• Suggestions: More trips, excursions and less lectures.• I like the study period in Sopron, innovative way of learning about

innovations and teambuilding.• The excursions were nice, even if I wasn’t able to take part.• It was very nice and I enjoyed it very much.• Everything was good, no other comments.• Study period was good, I can’t understand how fast these two weeks went. • I was very happy here, because more of my colleague were here and I
