Student Teaching Site Selection:• Joint selection between Hendrix College and the

Cooperating School District• Must be within a 50-mile radius of Conway• Student teacher candidates should make

Education faculty aware of special considerations during the student teaching placement process

Student Teaching BlocksAugust Observation:• 2nd or 3rd week of August• First three days of school (for public schools)• 7:45am – 4:00pm• Observe how teachers set up rules and

routines• Keep a journal of observations

Student Teaching Blocks

• Intro to Student Teaching (2 week seminar)• Four Week Block
