What it will it grind??

– vegetables, fruit, egg shells, bones from fish and

poultry, meat, large meet bones, fish scraps,, and much

more.

Very stringy or fibrous food such as celery, corn husks

and pineapple tops should be avoided in a standard

disposers. However, they can be ground in an specific

models disposer.

The items like packaging materials, glass, plastic and

metal likes tins, caps, cans, and aluminum should not be

put into the disposer.

How much does it cost to operate?

The Operating cost is relatively low. Because it grinds faster,

they use less electricity.

Operating a .55 HP disposer for one month consumes power

equal to 100 watt light build on for one hour.

Disposers use very little water, but the fast grinding of an

food waste disposer keeps water consumption to the obsolete

minimum – on average a .04% per day increase in water

consumption

Do I need a Special sink or new sink or Kitchen??

NO.

A disposer will fit a single bowl or half bowl,

stainless steel or other material. The standard 90 mm

sink opening is ideal and the disposer comes with an

attachment for that size. However, a sink enlargement

tool is available to adapt your stainless steel sink to

the 90 mm standard opening.

You require 5 Amps plug below the sink & switch

for the same above the sink.

Is it compatible with the sewer system in my city???

All sewer systems are designed to handle waterborne

waste from the home. Ground food waste is over

70% water and is similar in chemical composition to

other black water, which can be easily transported

through any existing sewer system.
