Women Empowerment Principles

Use best practices to give a good understanding and to explain the principles, the WEPs, UN Global compact

Promotional material, promote WEP in your country To find the right target, check how many companies have

signed in your countries and who on global level. Has BPW a template letter for CEO to sign? Where should companies report? Each federation should

have a guidance document to know where to report. Important to have trade unions together Chance to get more consideration. Use WEPs toolkit.

Equal Pay Day

1. Prepare template on BPW Europe level which shall be(a) filled out by all European BPW federations and associated clubs with a

deadline and (b) then forwarded to our contacts at the European Commission

2. The template should contain the following information:(a) analysis of the present situation regarding EP(b) diagnosis: what will happen if nothing is done(c) proposal: what to do for/in each country (legislation?)(d) ideas:

- maybe set up a story, even a video to tell the “diagnosis”- maybe BPW Young could be in charge of this part

3. Gather all EPD actions and/or best practices of BPW (European and/or International) federations in ONE document
