WWF’s Earth Hour City Challenge
• Designed by WWF and run in collaboration with ICLEI
• Calls for ambitious, holistic, inspiring and credible plans for low carbon development and for dramatically increasing the use of sustainable and efficient renewable energy solutions in the next few decades
• First international pilot only includes 6 countries but considerable expansion planned for 2013-2014.
• City candidates report on cCCR, the same platform as used for the Mexico city pact
