Programme Support and Terminology Certification The Programme will be certified based on alignment with the learning outcomes and

assessment criteria for respective subject matters as determined by the UK Awarding

Bodies.

Session Means 1 (one) Onsite Training Day of up to 7 hours training delivery

Programme Manager The Programme Manager is the catalysts to ensure that all processes of learning take

place for participants and is responsible for working with the Faculty.

Faculty/Trainer The Faculty employed by Westford are cutting edge external subject experts with

strong academic background and sound business exposure to facilitate learning in a

specific subject area.

Programme Learning

Coach (PLC)

The Programme Learning Coach is fundamentally responsible to the Participants to be

a catalyst for learning and, for the duration of the programme, a Coach to ensure that

learning (in all forms and facets) occurs during the contact times, in the classroom as

well as between the study schools, and once the study schools are completed.

Business Driven

Action Learning

(BDAL) Project

The BDAL Project is an integrated business challenge which requires a solution using

business research methodology. In order to make a relevant and informed business

decision, participants need to research the business challenge thoroughly and propose

a relevant solution that integrates the experiential learning from the various modules

addressed in the programmes. All research, findings and recommendations must be

submitted in a report and subsequently, presented verbally to a panel of assessors.

Feedback Loop Feedback Loops are days that the PLC will spend with the participants to ensure that

everyone is on track with learning and to assist with any challenges that may arise.

Dry runs and Final

Presentations.

On the dry run day, the participants are given the opportunity, with the assistance and

guidance of the PLC, to prepare for the Final Presentations – on this day they will be

presenting their BDAL Project, with findings and solutions to the panel, allowing them

to demonstrate their learning and presentation skills.

METHODS OF FACILITATING THE LEARNING

PROCESS

The aim of our programmes are to deliver a suite of relevant (to global business) modules that,

when combined together, inspire a change in behaviour and creating new mind sets, all adding

to the benefit of the organisation.

The style of delivery is through expert facilitation, where the participants are exposed to theories,

best practice and case studies within the class room environment which are then unpacked and

debated to create relevance back in their own workplace.

During the Onsite sessions participants are exposed to practice by participating in Scenario

planning, Role Plays, Group Work and discussions in addition to the theoretical content delivered

through PPT slides.

The medium of instruction will be English and the training will be highly pragmatic, interactive,

interspersed with a number of activities and actual case studies. Any other integration required

can be included during the Curriculum Design stage

Page 7: WSM Corporate Profile Proposal

FEEDBACK, COACHING AND MENTORING After the completion of the whole programme we will conduct a Feedback Loop. The Feedback

Loop will be done at the end of the programme to reflect back on the learning experience and

what was gained from the process and to look at how to better approach future learning to drive

maximum benefit. The Feedback Loop reflects on applied learning in the workplace.

The delegates will be given a feedback form on each module to ensure that feedback is relevant

at all times. The Programme Learning Coach (PLC) will engage with the Participants and discuss

the findings and gain their insights into what is needed to create and implement a behavioural

change.

The Programme Learning Coach (PLC) will also engage with a designated group of more senior

members made up upper Management and Human Resources which will form the Steering

Committee (SteerCom). This committee will also be asked to give structured feedback based on

their observation of change in the delegates thinking and behavioural changes.

The SteerCom will be updated as to the findings from the Participants and the Facilitators.

Structured feedback is provided and any shortfalls will then be integrated into the next

programme to ensure the learning process is taking place.

FEEDBACK LOOP STRUCTURE

The Programme Learning Coach will be attending the last session to conduct a brief analysis of

the programme and what the participants expected outcomes of each session was. In-order for

this to be managed, at the end of each session the Participants conduct a ‘Reflection’ on the

learnings gauged from the session. The Feedback process aims to reflect on the learning

experience, evaluate the gains from the training and the effectiveness for applying the learning

in the workplace.

BDAL PROJECT The BDAL is the Business Driven Action Learning Project and is be completed over the whole

duration of the programme to ensure continuous return on learning. It asks the delegates to

identify a current need or challenge/issue within the organisation, to investigate the

need/challenge/issue and to develop a business case for a successful resolution. The Topic

Selection is a balance sought between the three areas of focus, scope and depth - and with the

reality of the time available and the access to the required information. Focus addresses the

specific issue to be investigated. Scope addresses questions like “is the research based on the

whole organisation or just a department/division?” Depth addresses questions of how deep the

issue will have to be probed.

Training is the heart of the matter in a progressive industry and behavioural change of employees

after successful training is the benchmark to assess the achievement of all training outcomes

envisaged. ‘Train-Assess-Train’ is the basic philosophy of any learning cycle and the learning curve

of all participants can be gauged by observation of their change in work behaviour, with enhanced

performance levels.

We look forward to an enduring association with your esteemed organisation in future.

Thanking You,

Samras Mayimi
