Let's think of some words we can use to describe the swan. cute, white, happy, relaxing, big, tired, quiet Congratulations! We just wrote adjectives.Adjectives are words that describe a person, place, or a thing.

Time for your assignment!Get ready to have some fun!!!!First: With your assigned group members walk around the playground and take 4 pictures of people, places, or things. Next: With a teacher, plug your camera into a laptop and download the pictures onto your desktop. Open and drag your picture into Word. Then: Type as many adjectives as you can for your pictures. -Think of words that describe how they feel, smell, taste, or what they look like. Finally: Use your adjectives to write at least 3 sentences for your pictures.
