1. Bring Navy laptop to JTF, Bldg 27:

• This is a secure building. Use the courtesy phone to gain entrance. I didn't arrange this in advance, I just showed up.

2. Obtain a 'retina' scan:

• Have them both print a hard copy of the results AND save it as a file on your desktop, just in case. This took approx 2 hours to complete.

3. Bring laptop and printed 'retina' scan to DOIM, Bldg 91 at WRAMC.

• No appointment needed. Pull up a chair and watch their giant flat screen TV for approx 1-2 hours while they load Essentris onto your computer.

DOIM – Building 91. IA office is on the entrance level. On the right midway down the hall. Look in an open door for rows of men sitting at cubicles facing you.

4. At home, click on the Internet Explorer VPN icon to get access to Navy.

• Then, open the WRAMC VPN folder, click on the IE VPN icon, and connect to WRAMC. Open WRAMC Essentris from the WRAMC VPN folder.
