GISELA networking needs

• Networking can adapt to any service or application needs as long as a due process is in place and a good communication is established between the project partners and CLARA´s networking team

• CLARA is contracting a person that will permanently interact with GISELA partners to address the different networking needs that the project may face– Specific services or configurations (i.e. VPNs, QoS, etc.)– Traffic monitoring and performance– Single point of coordination of the CLARA Regional NOC and

the national NOCs of CLARA´s members– Failure/recovery

Final Considerations

• CLARA´s networking team scope of work reaches the regional backbone and through its members (the NRENs) the national backbones

• Users/Institutions are responsible for the appropriate access bandwidth to be able to run HPC applications
