Welcome a Special Guest Wednesday, December 4Re red astronaut Clayton Anderson joins us for dinner in the Fellowship Hall where he will sign copies of his new children’s book “A is for Astronaut” and his first book “The Ordinary Spaceman: From Boyhood Dreams to Astronaut.” Clayton then joins us for Dishin’ with Dolores to dish on the importance of resilience as a character trait as he shares his journey to becoming an astronaut. Books will be available for purchase in the Fellowship Hall and make great Christmas gi s!

Kids’ Day OutGet your shopping, wrapping, and baking done or simply enjoy a long, leisurely brunch for this special Christmas treat while we celebrate a birthday party for Jesus and for older kids, a trip to the MATCH to see “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.”

Kids’ Day Out runs from 9:30–3:30 on Saturday, December 7 and is available for infants through 4th graders. The cost is $45 for one child, $80 for two siblings, and $115 for three or more siblings. Price includes lunch and theater ckets for those going to the play. Payments must be made no later than midnight on Wednesday, December 4.

PARTICIPANTSThe Buehrle family carries the Hope candle into the world. Russell, Greta, Lily (7), and Walt (5) are all engaged in the music ministry of South Main. Russell plays the trombone with the Brass; Greta sings in Agape and the Sanctuary Choir. Lily is in MainKids handbells and choir. Walt will be in the upcoming Christmas Pageant.

The Lane family lights the Hope candle this morning. Ryan and Kate started visi ng South Main 12 years ago this Advent season. Elliot (8), Lincoln (6), and Collins Grace (4) are all very ac ve MainKids singing, ringing, playing, learning, and loving with their South Main family.

Erin Webb is married to Todd and they are the proud parents of Jourdan, Luke, and Joey.
