October Is Pastor Appreciation Month!John Wesley gave this direction: “Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. At all the times you can. To all the people you can. As long as ever you can.” Our pastors at Oak Hill UMC are here for our congregation (and beyond) whenever someone needs them. This month we will be honoring our pastors with notes of appreciation and encourage-ment.

Please take a moment or two to drop a note in the “mailboxes” in the Narthex telling the pastors what their ministry has meant to you. Thank them for the compassionate hours they have spent listening to our joys, problems, losses, or hearing our suggestions. Give them recognition for the sermons that inspire us to keep our faith in God and strive to be the people God wants us to be.
