Are you not much more valuable than they?” Matthew 16:25b-26 Please pray for Jean Lanier’s neighbor Michael Allen who was jumped on by some teenagers who broke his legs and beat his head. He is currently recovering from surgery in intensive care. Please pray for Michael’s healing. Save the Date/Take Notice Praise Praise God that Paula Taylor is in a regular hospital room and breathing on her own. God is so good!! Celeste Gary and Cindy Sims are planning a craft to do with the children in Sunday School in November. They need glass jars for this project, and if you have any (larger than baby food jars) please bring them to the church. Thank you! There will be a Congregational Meeting in the Sanctuary after service next week, November 7th. Ministry team leaders, please provide the office with your reports no later than the evening of November 1st. Please pray for Rosie Fluker, the grandmother Michelle Lanier’s friend in your prayers. Rosie has just been diagnosed with ovarian cancer that is actively spreading throughout her body. Please pray for peace for the entire family and comfort for Rosie during this time. Thanks We want to thank everyone for the shower in honor of baby Kristina last month. Thank you for the enjoyable evening, for all the wonderful gifts, and for your good wishes. Connection Groups Adult Small Groups These groups meet at various times throughout the week. For more information, please contact the office. Women’s Ministry ▪ Activities are held irregularly and will be announced at least a week prior to occurring. Men’s Groups ▪ Men’s Bible Study meets Saturday mornings at 8AM. All men are encouraged to participate and can join at any time. ▪ Basketball meets on Thursdays at 7:30PM for a time of exercise and Bible study. Youth Group: The schedule for those in Youth Group (Jr.& Sr. High) is posted in the Sunday bulletin’s weekly calendar and also on the church website. The youth grow by learning together how to better live like Christ.

Potter’s Shop: Childcare for ages birth to 2 years is offered Sunday mornings during worship service in the Education Wing. Pre-K: The 3-5 year olds are led by Jean Lanier in Education Wing room #6 and learn how to seek Jesus (Matthew 19:14). K-5th grade: Meeting in Education Wing rooms #2-3 and led by Celeste Gary, this class will focus on answering the question “Who is Jesus?”. Jr. High: Meeting in Education Wing room #1, 6-8th graders are led by Bill Roberts through the study, Your Word is Truth. Sr. High: Meeting in the Youth Room, 9-12th grade students are led by William Mizell through the study, Your Word is Truth. Adult: Gathering in the Fellowship Hall, the Deacons lead this co-ed class through a survey of the first six chapters of Daniel. Women: Today Barb Sosnowski and Pat Brim will start leading the women of Bethel through Beth Moore’s “Breaking Free” study.
