Travel Arrangements• Pick-up & Transfer to Dublin Airport

– Bus Departing 11:00am– Stops / meeting point to be agreed (tonight)

• Flight Check-in– 1:00pm to 1:30pm

• Flight Times & Duration– Flight departs 15:45– EI678, Airbus A320– Duration is just under 3 hours

• Arrival in Budapest– Flight arrives 19:40 (local time = +1 hour)

• Collect baggage & Transfer to Hostel (45mins) to arrive apx 9:00pm

– Athletes:• 9am – Travel to Race Centre (registration / TA / Swim Start)• 11am – Swim Course Familiarisation (short run to follow)• 3pm – Bike Assembly • 6pm – Opening Ceremony & parade of nations

– Re-boxing will be after the race on Sunday 12 September

• Advice: Do not leave this until Monday!

– Club NOT paying insurance – your responsibility– Recommend for Athletes (KMC research)

• Add your bike to your house insurance• Confirm it is covered if taken abroad (same as Jewellery or laptop)• For racing, you will be covered 3rd party as in Irish races• For everything else, buy a single travel insurance policy or annual

• Passport– Final chance to check it is in date– Do not forget!

• Athletes– You will need your TI card or you won’t be able to race– Bike Bags ARE subject to weight limit– Pack only your bike in your box
