“On behalf of ILLRS and ASAMI, I would like to invite the orthopedic industry to join colleagues from around the world to learn from experts and have the opportunity to exchange ideas in a comfortable environment designed to stimulate the interchange of scientific research and ideas and foster interactions between the speakers and participants.

This Congress will include a full spectrum of topics on Limb Reconstruction of Bones and Joints with External and Internal fixation methods for the Upper and Lower Limbs in Children and Adults. The subjects will range from cutting-edge basic science research to clinical outcome studies on a wide array of subjects relevant to these fields of study.

The congress will also be a confluence of Science with Industry. There will be special industry workshops as well as industry display booths. Meeting space will also be provided for industry-participant special meetings and presentations.”

SYMPOSIUM

• A company may organize a non-CME approved symposium (60 minutes). The topic will be subject to approval by the chairpersons of the congress, and it is expected to follow the controversies theme of the congress. The speakers or moderators will be subject to approval of the chairpersons so that they can be included in the scientific programme as either speakers or moderators or both, and should be available for the entire duration of the scientific programme (Thursday, Friday).

Special industry sponsored symposia time slots will be allocated on a first come, first-served basis, based on receipt of a signed contract. In addition to the agreed sponsorship amount, the company should cover all speakers’ expenses, including registration, accommodation and travel expenses.

This specially developed App can be downloaded by the delegates directly on to smart phones and tablets. It combines all program information and abstracts in a handy way and can be accessed by the delegates at all times.

The exhibition will be held at the Congress venue. The exhibition floorplan is designed to maximize exposure to the participants. Coffee breaks and work lunches will be held in the exhibition area.

Exhibition space will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to supporters.

• The minimum booth size is 3x3 sq.m.

Each company will have two free registrations per 9 sqm stand space. Each extra Exhibitor will be charged at € 150,00 per person. Lunch is included in the exhibitor registration. The maximum number of exhibitor is 4 for 9 sqm., 6 for 18sq. m and 10 for 36sq. m. Excess personnel must be registered as participants.

POLICIES, DISCLAIMER, TERMS AND CONDITIONS

CONFIRMATION AND PAYMENT

A sponsoring arrangement will be confirmed in writing between Meeting Point, based in Portugal, acting on behalf of ILLRS & ASAMI and the sponsoring/supporting entity. An invoice with payment details will be sent to the sponsoring/supporting entity, and payment will then be expected within 4 weeks of invoice date.

All amounts mentioned in this document are exclusive of VAT. VAT will be added as applicable according to tax legislation.

EXHIBITION POLICY

If benefits granted to the sponsor/supporter include the opportunity to exhibit at the conference venue, the sponsoring/supporting organization and its agent(s) must comply with the rules and regulations governing the conference exhibition, as detailed in the exhibition manual or imposed by the venue. The technical manual and rules and regulations imposed by the venue will be provided to sponsoring/supporting organizations at least 6 weeks before the opening date of the conference.

CANCELLATION POLICY

In case of cancellation of a sponsoring arrangement by the sponsoring organization, a cancellation fee of 25% of the total agreed sponsoring fee applies if the cancellation notice is received more than three months before the opening date of 3rd World Ortho Recon ILLRS&ASAMI , Lisbon 2017. If the cancellation notice is received three months or less before the opening date of the conference, a cancellation fee of 100% of the total agreed sponsoring fee applies. Cancellation notices must be sent in writing to the Congress Secretariat.

DISCLAIMER

Funding for 3rd World Ortho ReCon - ILLRS&ASAMI Congress, Lisbon 2017 is requested solely on behalf of ILLRS&ASAMI, not its partners. Any grants/fees provided by sponsorship/supporting organizations will go toward defraying the expenses of ILLRS&ASAMI in direct relation to offering the 3rd World Ortho ReCon - ILLRS&ASAMI Congress.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The Exhibitor agrees to abide by all regulations and rules adopted by the Congress Organising Committee in the best interests of the exhibition and agrees that the Congress Organising Committee shall have the right to amend and add to or delete from any and all rules and regulations at any time, in the sole discretion of the Organising Committee.

2. All electrical wiring and outlets used by the Exhibitor in excess of the standard electrical outlet provided by the Congress Center or its appointed agents shall be at the Exhibitor’s sole risk and expense.

3. Space contracted by the Exhibitor may not be sublet without the prior written permission of the Congress Organising Committee or its appointed agents.

4. The Exhibitor is responsible for the placement and cost of insurance related to his participation in the exhibition.





5. It is understood that the Congress Organising Committee or its appointed agents has sole discretion in the assignment of booths. The Organising Committee reserves the right to alter or change the Exhibitor’s assigned location at any time if deemed in the best interests of the exhibition.

6. The Congress Organising Committee or its appointed agents reserves the right at any time to reject, prohibit, alter or remove exhibits or any part thereof, including printed materials, product, signs, lights or sound, and to expel exhibitors or their personnel if, in the Organising Committee’s opinion, their conduct or presentation is objectionable to other show participants.

7. The Exhibitor agrees to confine his display within the contracted space only, and within the maximum height set by the exhibition rules and regulations and to maintain staff in the assigned booth during exhibition hours.

8. All goods shipped to the exhibition must be clearly marked with the name of the Exhibitor and the number of his allocated space. Goods must not be shipped to the exhibition with shipping charges to be paid on arrival as these will not be accepted by the Congress Organising Committee. The Organising Committee assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to goods belonging to the Exhibitor before, during the period of the exhibition, or after its closing.

9. The Exhibitor agrees that no display may be dismantled nor may any goods be removed during the entire run of the exhibition. The Exhibitor also agrees to remove his exhibit and equipment from the exhibition building by the final move out time limit, or in the event of failure to do so, the Exhibitor agrees to pay for such additional costs as may be incurred by the Congress Orga- nising Committee.

10. The Congress Organising Committee reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change the date or dates upon which the exhibition is to be held and shall not be liable in damages or otherwise by reason of any such change. In addition, the Congress Organising Committee shall not be liable in damages or otherwise for failure to carry out the terms of this Agreement in whole or in part where such failure is caused directly or indirectly by or in consequence of fire, storm, flood, war, rebellion, insurrection, riot, civil commotion, strike, or by any cause whatsoever beyond the control of the Congress Organising Committee whether similar to or dissimilar from the causes enumerated here in.

11. The Congress Organising Committee reserves the right to cancel this contract and to withhold possession of exhibit space if the Exhibitor fails to perform any material condition of this contract or refuses to abide by the exhibition rules and regulations, in which case the Exhibitor shall forfeit as damages all space rental payments made by him and any further occupancy of such space.

12. Partnership Sponsors have first choice accordingto the contracted Sponsorship level. All other sponsors will be treated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

13. Any legal dispute will be ruled by the Portuguese Law.

It is the responsibility of the supporters and exhibitors to comply with the regulations of the local authorities, EFPIA, IFMPA and EUCOMED.

The Congress Organizer reserves the right to accept or decline offers of support and application for exhibition space.
