Jr. Team Tennis USTA Jr. Team Tennis (JTT) is a multi-week league for kids that combines the challenge and fun of playing tennis with the educational and character building aspects of participating on a team. Teams are co-ed and are comprised of players of similar age and skill level. The emphasis in JTT is on skill development, fun, teamwork and friendly competition. For more information, contact Michelle Campanella at [email protected] or go to www.sctennis.com/jtt to nd a program near you!

Play Days & Tennis Festivals Kids can practice their tennis skills with a match-based Play Day or a games-based Tennis Festival. These one to two-hour events allow players to rotate through opponents or stations and get plenty of tennis fun! Find an event in your area at www.youthtennis.com.
10 & Under Tennis Circuits In South Carolina, there are several tournament circuits where players in the 8U and 10U Division can compete throughout the year locally. Players should be able to serve and keep score for these match-play based events. For more information about the 10U Circuit in your area, please visit www.sctennis.com/circuits.
SportsmanshipTennis provides kids the opportunity to learn on their own and develop character as the sport requires players to call their own lines, respect their opponents and ocials, learn to control emotions with a win, and especially with a loss. The Code of Conduct provides general sportsmanship rules, and it is the players’ responsibility to be knowledgeable of the rules of the game, which can be found in the Friend at Court rulebook. For more information on the role of the parent, you can view the Parenting My Champion video, part of the USTA Southern Sportsmanship Guide, at sctennis.com/sportsmanship, which is required before entering into any Level 4 or Level 5 tournament.
