SUBSTANCES CAPABLE OF GENERATING OCCUPATIONAL POLLUTION ARE
HANDLED, TRANSPORTED, PROCESSED OR STORED
Objective
To establish measures to prevent harm to the health of workers exposed to chemicals polluting the occupational environment, and to establish the maximum allowable limits of occupational exposure at workplaces where chemicals are handled, transported, processed or stored, which are capable of contaminating the workplace environment and affecting worker health due to their properties, concentration levels and time ofexposure.

SYSTEM FOR IDENTIFYING AND COMMUNICATING HAZARDS AND RISKS DUE

OBJECTIVE
To establish the minimum requirements for a system to identify and communicate hazards and risks associated with chemicals capable of affecting worker health or damaging the workplace by reason of their physical or chemical characteristics, toxicity, concentration and time of exposure.

WORKPLACE ORGANIZATION —SAFETY IN CHEMICAL PROCESSING
Objective
To establish the elements to organize safety in the processing of chemicals, to prevent major
accidents and protect workers and the workplace from harm.
Threshold—reporting quantity: the quantity at or above which chemicals listed in Appendix A are present or available at the workplace.
