Risk – A Definition

The possibility of suffering harm or loss; danger

A factor, thing, element, or course involving uncertain danger; a hazard

Definitions

A hazard is anything that has the potential to cause harm.

Occupational risk refers to the likelihood and the severity of an injury or an illness occurring as a result of exposure to a hazard.
