Works Cited Page
For your Research Paper
Why Have One?
• Lists all the sources you used
• Only include sources you cited in your paper
• Tells the reader (teacher) where you found your information
Requirements
• Your last name and page # in upper right hand corner
• Center the words Works Cited at top
• Begin each source at the left. Indent any 2nd or 3rd lines with TAB key
Requirements…
• Double space this page
• Alphabetical order by first word
• Period at end of each entry
How to Cite a Book Source
• Author’s last name, First name. Title of Book in italics. City of Publication: Publishing Company, Year. Print.
• Circle each comma and period on your handout!!!
