Challenge #1 Challenge #2 Challenge #3

Keep your site current Content Chaos Bringing visitors back

Why is it a challenge?

Only a small group of technical people can change the web site

Cross-functional effort

Time consuming

Why is it a challenge?

Where did that come from?

Who owns it? How old is it? Is it still current?

Are we still selling that?

Why 1999 events still listed?

Why is it a Challenge?

Low attention span

Lots of competition

Easy to leave – one click and they’re gone

Costs of Outdated Pages

Lost customer confidence

Tarnished image

Lower traffic

Lost opportunities

Legal Exposure

Cost of Chaos

The “hassle” of keeping the site current results in neglect

Site usage declines

Content re-creation

Employee frustration

Costs of Losing Customers

If they run into problems, most will never come back

It costs 6x more to sell to a new customer than to an existing one

What Web site challenges do you have?
