Work Positioning & Rope Access

•Tree Climbing Level or Below main anchor

•Use of Load Bearing Supplementary anchors toprevent fall or swing

•Maximum slack in system 500mm (250mm in eachside of system)

•Harness must have leg loops & may require „seat‟

•Affords Full or Partial Support

•In rope access the line does not usually move withthe climber

Work Restraint

(Travel Restriction Systems) Restrict the user‟s travelso that access is not possible to zones where the risk ofa fall from a height exists.

Fall Arrest

•Allows for climbing above main anchor point

•Slack in system >500mmm

•Use of full body harness incorporating energyabsorber

•Thoracic or dorsal attachment points
