JESSICA KELLY | CLASS OF 2013
Jess graduated from Food Science in 2016 and is currently working for
an industry-leading commercial bakery in regional Victoria. Jess fulfils a
quality assurance role within the Research and Development
department bringing some of your favourite supermarket staples from
paddock to plate.
In addition to her role in R&D, Jess is currently studying her Cert IV in
Training & Assessment and is busy in the community with a number of
roles within local and national organisations.
KAITLYN SCHILTZ - CLASS OF 2008
After graduating from Loreto College, Kaitlyn gained a Certificate III in
Business Management through a traineeship at an advertising agency.
Kaitlyn then went on to become a fully qualified florist, currently
working at Jenny Burke Florist in Ballarat. Kaitlyn has won consecutive
prestigious student awards at the Melbourne International Flower
Garden Show in 2015 and 2016 and has helped highly renowned
florists set up their stalls at the famous exhibition.
Kaitlyn loves fashion, travel and her sausage dog, Daphne. Kaitlyn still
proudly loves and calls Ballarat her home.
STEPHANIE MATHIESON - CLASS OF 2009
After graduating from Loreto College. Stephanie started to study Law,
transferred courses a couple of times, was injured in her workplace,
and finally landed in a Business Degree where she fell into Human
Resources (HR). Stephanie has worked in private, public and not for
profit sectors, including a 12 month stint in Canberra.
Stephanie has now finished her Masters and is working in the Health
Industry coordinating HR projects and establishing the HR strategy.
Stephanie says that she has not taken the easy path and believes that
she is proof that the path less travelled is absolutely worth it.

ANNEMARIE MOLONEY - CLASS OF 1996
VERONICA MICICH - CLASS OF 1997
Annemarie studied her Bachelor of Commerce at the University of
Ballarat (Fed Uni). Annemarie then accepted a graduate accountant
position at Prowse, Perrin & Twomey ( PPT) and is a Senior Accountant,
specialising in business services and taxation. Annemarie has seen the
increasing role of internet and cloud-based accounting packages, and
her role at PPT has allowed her to create valuable business relationships
with the clients she deals with daily.
Annemarie enjoys exercising, yoga and practising mindfulness.
Annemarie is also an avid supporter of mental health awareness and
cures for brain injuries/illnesses.
Veronica studied at the University of Ballarat (Fed Uni) and completed
an industry year in Melbourne. Starting work as a Programmer for a
Victorian government agency, the Department of Sport and Recreation,
was a big learning curve. Moving through different organisations,
leading teams and then leading projects in application development,
Veronica extended her study in Project Management working for
Fujitsu Australia.
Veronica now has her dream job at Microsoft Australia running projects
around Australia and enjoys taking her bicycle along for the ride.
ASHLEIGH DODD - CLASS OF 2005
When Ashleigh graduated from Loreto College, she was unsure what
she wanted to do; so went onto study multiple courses at the
University of Ballarat (Fed Uni) and volunteered in the USA. Upon
returning home, Ashleigh found her calling in the Disability Sector.
Amongst ongoing study, working directly with people, becoming a
manager, returning to UB as a teacher, Ashleigh also faced unforeseen
challenges to begin her family.
Now as a mother of two, Ashleigh continues as a Disability Manager
and has now begun studying to become a Doula; to support women
through pregnancy challenges and starting a family, all whilst raising
her own.
RACHEL HARRISON - CLASS OF 1998
Rachel lives in Buninyong and is married with two children, Monty aged
six and Winnie aged three. Before moving to back to Ballarat, Rachel
spent many years living in Melbourne and a short time living in the United
Kingdom.
Rachel has forged a career in the male dominated building and
construction industry. She is currently commuting to Melbourne and
works full time at George Rydell Constructions as a Senior Contract
Administrator.

KELSEY WILSON - CLASS OF 2015

ROSE MURPHY - CLASS OF 2015
Kelsey is currently studying a Bachelor of Media and Communications
at La Trobe University. Along with her studies, Kelsey also takes an
extra class, interns at Melbourne WebFest (Australia’s international
web series festival), is a student ambassador at La Trobe and still
works part-time.
Kelsey is extremely busy and looks forward to sharing more about
what she is doing during her presentation.
Since graduating from Loreto in 2015, Rose has studied a Bachelor of
Applied Science at RMIT University (Medical Radiations), specialising
in Medical Imaging. Rose has experienced clinical placements at four
different radiology departments, which have helped her solidify her
interest in the field.
Rose is currently working at Box Hill Hospital as a Medical Imaging
Assistant whilst completing the final year of her degree. Next year
Rose is looking forward to commencing a one-year internship as a
Graduate Radiographer.
SERENA ELDRIDGE - CLASS OF 1989
Serena is currently employed as the Industry & Development Manager
at VisitBallarat – a role that involves working to drive revenue in the
Tourism Industry and encourage product development. Previous to this,
Serena was employed by Fairfax Media (ACM) as the Group Marketing
Manager for VIC/TAS and NSW overseeing the marketing and
sponsorship activity of over 60 individual newspapers.
Serena specialises in identifying and successfully managing special
events and promotions and has won numerous State and National
awards for her campaigns and initiatives. Serena’s connection to the
community and industry is enhanced by a number of volunteer and
advisory roles. She also loves the great outdoors, travel and is the proud
owner of two retired greyhounds.
