    descriptipn of what you did

    BY THE END OF THIS WEEK, ALL STUDENT SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST ONE SAVED IMAGE SHOWING

    SOME KIND OF MANIPULATION IN PHOTOSHOP WITH ADDED TEXT. THE LABS AND THIS WORKSHEET

    WILL SHOW YOU HOW TO USE A PHOTOSHOP SAMPLE IMAGEBUT YOU MAY ALSO USE ONE OF YOUR

    OWN.

    What version of Photoshop do the school computers have?:

    If you havent used it before, spend some time looking round Photoshop at the types of tools that are

    Where to find sample images for using in Photoshop:

    Use ADOBE BRIDGE to browse |Open vanishing.psd

    Use the POLYGON LASSO tool to select the dog (or other object if you are using

    your own image).

    You can now EDIT your selection(in this case the dog). A basic edit is to copy

    and paste to make a clone of the selected area.

    Go to the EDIT MENU>COPY and the EDIT MENU>PASTE. (Keyboard shortcuts are

    CTRL+C and CTRL+V )You should now be able to change to the selction tool (arrow) and pick up the

    dog on the top.

    IN YOUR OWN TIME, have a go with the other selection tools to see the

    differences!

    Make a Basic CROP of your image.

    Draw the symbol for the CROP and the POLYGON LASSO tools:

    Using the TEXT TOOL add some Text to your Image, and change the colour of the

    text.
