1 Vertikales Licht, Integrierte Systeme


Die homogene Anstrahlung von vertikalen Flächen übernehmen Einbau-

systeme mit speziell gestalteten asymmetrischen Reflektoren. Diese sorgen

für den bodennahen Ansatz der Beleuchtung und einen über die gewählte

Fassadenhöhe in allen Achsen gleichmäßig weichen Lichtverlauf. Streulicht

und unerwünschte Lichtimmissionen sind minimiert. Die flächenbündig in

jede Bodentextur integrierbaren Systeme erfüllen ohne Abdeckrahmen und

sichtbare Verschraubungen außerdem höchste ästhetische Ansprüche.

In-ground systems, fitted with specially designed asymmetric reflectors,

homogeneously illuminate vertical surfaces. Thanks to their in-grade

location, they are able to illuminate facades from the ground up in the

desired height and in all axes with a uniformly soft dispersion. Spill and

stray upward light emission are minimal. Integrating grade-flush in any

ground covering, the luminaires, whose hardware is hidden from sight,

satisfy the most discerning aesthetic standards.

Aufbausysteme sind prädestiniert für die Anstrahlung hoher Fassaden.

Durch die vielfältigen Möglichkeiten der Positionierung lassen sie sich sehr

flexibel in die Architektur und das urbane Umfeld einbinden. Ausgestattet

mit leistungsstarker Reflektortechnik lenken sie das Licht vom gewählten

Standort aus exakt auf die zu beleuchtende Fläche. Bei Tag sind die Systeme

dank kompakter Abmessungen und schlankem Design nicht oder nur unter-

geordnet wahrnehmbar.

Surface mount systems are for the illumination of high walls. Versatile in

terms of positioning, they easily blend in with the architecture and their

urban surroundings. The luminaires’ high-performance optical systems,

which are exceptionally accurate, illuminate their targeted elements from

their specified positions. During the day, the luminaires draw little or no

attention thanks to their compact dimensions and trim design.

3 Inszenierendes Licht


Die LED-Technologie eröffnet bisher nicht da gewesene Gestaltungsspiel-

räume für inszenierendes Licht. Es kann die Architektur neu interpretieren,

Fassaden durch Projektion mit spannenden Inhalten versehen oder – wie

emdelight – selbst zum Fassadenelement werden. Was bei Tag wie hoch-

wertiges transparentes Glas wirkt, verwandelt sich bei Nacht in ein archi-

tektonisches Lichtbild. Formen und Farben sind frei wähl- und steuerbar,

wodurch der Kreativität keine Grenzen gesetzt sind.

LED technology opens up lighting design freedom and potential that was

never before imaginable. LED lighting can render architecture completely

anew, excitingly decorate, reinterpret, or – like emdelight – become an

integral element of a facade. What appears by daylight as high-grade

transparent glass, transforms at night into an architectural image. Shapes

and colours are variable and regulate as desired, eliminating all previous

creative limitations.

4 Horizontale Beleuchtung

RR

ASysteme für die Anstrahlung von Boden und Decke sind darauf ausgelegt,

eine vorgegebene horizontale Fläche klar begrenzt und homogen auszu-

leuchten. Durch Optimierung von Ausstrahlwinkel und Platzierung der

Leuchten wird die Blendung in der Sichtachse des Betrachters weitestge-

hend ausgeschaltet – ebenso das Streulicht zu angrenzenden Gebäude-

elementen. Bei perfekter Planung sehen die Verkehrsteilnehmer nur die

beleuchtete Fläche.

The systems for the illumination of floors and ceilings provide precise

homogeneous lighting of the targeted surfaces. By fine-tuning the beam

angle and the careful positioning of the luminaires, glare is virtually

nonexistent – as are also spill or stray light for adjacent building elements.

With proper planning and execution, only the illuminated surfaces are

visible.

5 Akzentuierendes Licht

Accent Lighting

Zur Akzentuierung von Besonderheiten in der Architektur und im öffent-

lichen Freiraum stehen verschiedene Einbau- und Aufbausysteme zur

Verfügung. Ausgestattet mit engstrahlenden Reflektoren ermöglichen sie,

horizontale und vertikale Strukturen, wie beispielsweise Schmuckelemente

an Fassaden oder Baumkronen, gezielt hervorzuheben – sei es um die

räumliche Wirkung des gesamten Objekts zu verstärken oder prägnante

Identifikationspunkte im nächtlichen Stadtraum zu schaffen.

Various in-ground and surface-mount systems are available for the

highlighting of architectural features in public spaces. Fitted with narrow

beam optics, they permit the precise accenting of horizontal and vertical

structures, such as decorative elements on facades or treetops – whether

to enhance the three-dimensional appearance of the entire architectural

structure or to punctuate identification points in urban spaces at night.

Die Anstrahlung der im späten 15. Jahrhundert errichteten Kaisertrutz in

Görlitz, heute Sitz des Kulturhistorischen Museums der Stadt, erfolgt durch

Bodeneinbaustrahler der Serie Teramo. Durch speziell für dieses Projekt

entwickelte Reflektoren wird eine gleichmäßige Beleuchtung der verti-

kalen Flächen des Rundbaus sowie des Vorbaus mit den beiden Ecktürmen

erreicht. Gleichzeitig ist die Forderung der Lichtplaner erfüllt, die horizonta-

len Vorsprünge plastisch hervortreten zu lassen.

Teramo series in-ground luminaires illuminate the 15th century Kaisertrutz

bastion in Görlitz, home of the city’s cultural history museum. Reflectors,

specially designed for this project, uniformly illuminate the walls of the

round structure and the forebuilding with both its corner towers. And, as

specified by the lighting designer, the lighting enhances the three-

dimensionality of the structure’s horizontal projections.

FOrientierungslicht fungiert als Leitsystem und Gestaltungselement zugleich.

Integriert in Bodenflächen und Wände markiert es Ein- und Ausgänge, führt

die Passanten durch Unterführungen und erleichtert durch den Einsatz von

unterschiedlich farbigem Licht die Orientierung in mehrgeschossigen Anla-

gen. Das angenehme, blendfreie Licht erzeugt eine entspannte Atmosphäre

und verstärkt das Gefühl von Sicherheit. Die filigranen Lösungen fügen sich

dezent in Boden- und Wandflächen ein. Gleichzeitig schützt sie ihre robuste

Konstruktion vor Vandalismus.

Orientation luminaires serve as both guidance systems and design

elements. Integrated in the ground or walls, they guide pedestrians

through passageways and facilitate orientation in multi-storey buildings,

using multiple colours. Their pleasant glare-free light produces a relaxed

ambience and strengthens the sense of safety and security. Filigree in

appearance, the luminaires discreetly integrate into the ground and walls.

Their solid construction protects them against vandalism.

Durch eine behutsame Anstrahlung des Freiburger Münsters mit sehr warm-

weißem Licht bleibt die von Einwohnern und Touristen geschätzte mystische

Atmosphäre auf dem Münsterplatz gewahrt. Die 110 installierten LED-Leuch-

tensysteme benötigen insgesamt nur 3.850 Watt. Sie zeichnen sich außer-

dem durch hohe Blendbegrenzung und minimale Lichtimmissionen aus.

The gentle illumination of the Freiburg cathedral with very warm white LEDs

preserves the highly valued mystical atmosphere of the cathedral plaza for

the enjoyment of tourists and residents. Moreover, the 110 LED luminaires

require only 3,850 watts and produce minimum glare and negligible upward

stray emission.

18 hocheffiziente Power Beam Strahler mit einem Ausstrahlwinkel von

1,5 Grad und speziellen Aluminiumoptiken leuchten den 116 Meter hohen

Hauptturm gleichmäßig aus und verleihen ihm eine attraktive Fernwirkung.

Der Einsatz von Bodenstrahlern ergänzt die Anstrahlung des Hauptturms

und hebt dessen Plastizität hervor.

18 highly efficient Power Beam accent luminaires, fitted with specially

designed reflectors for a 1.5-degree beam angle, uniformly illuminate the

116-metre spire, giving the tower an extremely attractive appearance from

the distance. In-ground luminaires contribute to the steeple’s illumination,

augmenting its third dimension.
