COMPANY SUMMARY

Joint Solutions and Technology (GST) is a U.S. based, Service

Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. A joint venture of

Guerrilla Solutions and Technology and Philia Strategic Consulting,

JST offers experience in application and software design, platform

automation, and technology consulting, all accompanied by an

unwavering level of commitment. Our responsive and adaptable

team consists of highly qualified U.S. military veterans who serve

as our business managers, technology consultants, app

developers, data management specialists, and cyber security

technicians.

CORE COMPETENCIES

JST brings numerous applications and software solutions to bear,

allowing us to create tailored, comprehensive technology solutions

for our customer’s specific needs and goals.

Applications and Sotware Design: Online Loan Applications with e-

Signing, Video Streaming Service, Retirement Calculator (401k,

Cyber Security: JST’s cyber security specialists are all Certified

Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), offering our

customers the highest quality tailored cyber security programs.

Cloud Based Solutions: JST specialists have experience in

enterprise solutions including Salesforce and Cloud Access

Security Broker (SkyHigh), allowing us to work within your existing

technology solutions or create new, custom solutions.

Remote Team Management: Currently, GST does not retain a

dedicated team of on-site technicians to support projects outside of

the continental United States, but, with prior consultation, our team

is capable of virtually managing a project while employing sub-

contracted technicians to perform off-site projects.

Jordan Alvarado Chief Executive Officer

Jordan earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision from Purdue University and is pursuing a Masters in

Business Administration from the University of North Carolina. After completing his undergraduate degree, Jordan served six years in the US Army as a paratrooper based in Europe. During this time, Jordan oversaw and led multiple training deployments that strengthened critical relationships with both NATO and non-NATO allies. He is the recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. After leaving active service, he began working in the financial services industry as a program manager and process engineering lead. He currently holds a PMP and CISSP certification while also pursuing his Lean SixSigma Blackbelt.

Paden Portillo Chief Technology Officer

Paden's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, a Graduate Degree in Software Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso. Paden has conducted research in Constraint Programming, and software development for NASA Ames on the Cassini observer. He is the CEO of Advent Code and Design, Director of UX at Blacklight Solutions, and a

consultant with Guerrilla Solutions and Technology. He consults on technology related projects involving React, Angular, .NET, PHP, Java, SQL, NoSQL, and NodeJS. His notable projects include Three Online Loan Applications with e-Signing, Video Streaming Service, Retirement Calculator (401k, IRAs, Pension, SSA), and several Administrator Dashboards/Reporting applications.

Lucas Dale Cyber Security Analyst

Lucas received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Saint John’s University, Minnesota where he focused on interagency team building and networked coalition building in complex environments. He was a 2013 Saratoga Fellow at the John Jay Institute. Lucas provides a sequence based focus for longitudinal planning and organizational goal setting. .

Mark Selak VP of Technological Development

Mark earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Systems Management from Duquesne University. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina. After completing his undergraduate degree, Mark served elevan years in the United States Marine Corps as a CH-53E Super Stallion pilot. In addition to flying, Mark managed operations, maintenance, and logistics departments on multiple combat and peacetime deployments. He is the recipient of both the Navy Commendation and Individual Action Air Medals. After leaving active service, he began working in the financial services industry as a strategist in a global operations center. He currently holds a CISSP certification and is pursuing a Lean SixSigma Blackbelt certification.

Book Mediation Application

Background: Book Mediation eliminates the phone tag,

inefficiency and wasted staff time that comes with the

typical scheduling of legal mediation. Book Mediation

turned days of back and forth into seconds of searching

and clicking to conveniently select and confirm a legal

mediator in three states. Book Mediation conveniently

allows individuals to browse prospective mediators by

proximity, fee structure, and qualifications.

Scope: Rewrite an existing application with a new front-

end and back-end architecture and language.

Gov2Biz Application

Background: Gov2Biz makes it easier for government and

businesses to work together. Gov2Biz application brings

all licensing and enforcement processes for government

agencies on one platform: application processing,

licensing, inspections, enforcement, emails, documents,

letters, etc.

Scope: Create a new landing page for Gov2Biz. The goal

being to better their message to possible leads. The new

landing page better highlights their potential value and

highlights application features that intrigues possible

leads.

Cannafis Equipment Loan Application

Background:

Canna Financial Services, Cannafis, was born out of the

need for specialty financing in the legal cannabis

industry. The founders come from the commercial leasing,

fin tech, and high tech industry. Cannafis saw the pain

firsthand from vendors, growers, and producers trying to

get financing to startup and grow their business. Their

goal is to be the premier source for financing

commercial equipment for the legal cannabis industry

Scope: Create an online equipment financing application.

HubSpot integration allows for leads to be entered in the

CRM. Users can sign their application via DocuSign

integration (for credit lookup purposes).

simple reason: to inform how foundations investments

were performing.

possible FoundationMark leads.
