olina State University. ~Continued Jobs for SC Graduates (JAG) program. ~A comprehensive Guidance Program offers Parent
Nights for each grade level and sponsors College Application Day. ~Each student has an Individual Graduation Plan. ~CCHS has a pro-gressive art program. ~Continued Teacher Cadet Program. ~Saints
Success began. ~Award-winning Project LEAD the Way Program. ~Top Saints Program recognizes students. ~Summer Enrichment Opportunities ~Choral and Band Students participated in state
competitions.
Extracurricular Activities
AJROTC is an award winning program.
Student Council won the Gold Honor Council Award and Gabriel Bennett was elected State District 3 Chair.
The football, boys and girls basketball, volleyball, track, baseball, and softball teams advanced to the SCHSL playoffs.
Saints Boys Basketball won the 2A Re-gion 5 Championship.
Thanton Jordan won three areas of the Lower State Track Meet.
DECA members competed at the State level and won awards in 6 different events.
CCHS was the ONLY school in SC to show improvement in all areas of the ACT.
FBLA was reorganized.
11 students were named local Cate Com-pleters.
An Inaugural STEM Night was held.
Cheerleaders placed in two competitions at the 2017 National Stump Competition.

Students at Calhoun County High School are prepared to meet the Pro-
file of a South Carolina Graduate. CCHS maintains rigorous standards
for college and career readiness in math, science, English, language,
technology, engineering, fine arts, and social sciences which promote the
development of World Class Knowledge. Well qualified staff and teach-
ers foster a productive learning environment which helps students devel-
op World Class Skills including creativity, innovation, critical thinking
skills, problem solving, collaboration, teamwork, communication, media,
technology, and knowing how to learn. The school also focuses on im-
portant Life and Career Characteristics of integrity, self-direction, and
interpersonal skills.
