The Lucky One (Alison Krauss & Union Station 2002)

INTRO: (Laaa-la-la-la-la......) [C] [G] [Am] [F] x2

You're the [C] lucky one so I've been told, as [G] free as a wind blowing down the road,

[C] Loved by many, hated by none, I'd [F] say you were lucky 'cause you know what you've done,

Not a [C] care in the world not a worry in sight, [G] everything's gonna be alright,

'Cause you're the [F] lucky one. [C]

You're the [C] lucky one always having fun, a [G] jack of all trades, a master of none,

[C] You look at the world with a smilin' eye and [F] laugh at the devil as his train rolls by,

[C] Give you a song and a one-night stand, [G] and you'll be looking at a happy man,

'Cause you're the [F] lucky one. [C]

Were you're [Dm7] blessed, I guess, by never [G] knowing which road you're choosing?

To you the [Dm7] next best thing to playing and [G] winning is [Ab] playing and [Am] losing.

You're the [C] lucky one I know that now, don't [G] ask you why when where or how,

[C] You look at the world through your smiling eye and [F] laugh at the devil as his train rolls by,

[C] Give you a song and a one-night stand [G] and you'll be looking at a happy man,

'Cause you're the [F] lucky one. [C]
